If his career had ended with Desh then TL won't be a hit ... channel PH rivalry ended it before time but that does not mean he got nothing after desh ... he got two more lead roles after TL ... that proves his career is anything but over ... May be he has not tried for BW or does not want to ... everyone have their own share of success, everyone does not make it big in a flash some people have to struggle more than others ... if he is destined for big things he will get there ... because we all know the talent he possesses ... what he can do in any role ... if his career had ended with desh itself ... he would not have best actor award for TL ... his other two shows after that were on smaller channels, with less viewership ... DP is the only I would say did not make it that too for reasons beyond his control ... because even as Raghav he was well accepted and loved ... so I don't know on what grounds you feel his career started and ended with Desh ... because I know a lot of people who became his fans after desh, in fact most fans of desh days (except a few) moved on. its' a matter of perception ... fact is he has survived in the industry without any contacts or backing ... and he has survived mostly on his own terms ... which does make it difficult for things to be rosy for him all the time

I do not want to debate this issue any further ,... you are entitled to hold your opinion but most of us here would disagree with it because if his career had started and ended with Desh we won't be here in the first place :-)

lol i should have known before posting here---his "fans" here would get hung up on me mentioning kis desh-- i very well remember this attitude from a couple years back, just as a silent observer.

I dont think he has achieved the amount of success he deserved after that and I stand by that. I am not a lunatic fan and honestly believe this guy deserves more. but looks like some of you are STILL divided into made-up in your head desh and anti-desh clubs.

even during kis desh he didnt get his due.

stop getting so defensive about one thing. its in your head.

life is not all about india forums fan base. sustaining a career is much more than that

so can anyone here actually give an account of what he is up to these days and what is actually going on? any recent interviews?

Defensive for what? Did you attack HC that I needed to defend him? 😕 you wrote you are his fan and hence worried ... so I just told you why you don't need to worry and picture is not bleak the way you painted it 😊 unless you did not have any ulterior motive why would I need to defend? You said you are his fan why would we fans need to defend him in front of another fan? 😕

I wrote what is our opinion on this and we don't want to debate further this FC is already 150 pages and we can't post here anymore

As for sustaining career we are sure HC knows how to do it ... he has sustained it for 6 years and will surely do it in future too. He has never been out of work since Desh that speaks volumes about sustaining! For this time he himself said he will take a break, so he is on a break! Hope that answers your question as to where he is as well!

And yes we are crazy that is why we are fans ... koi doubt maat rakhna :-)
