It may or may not be true. But leaving QH because you are getting to play negative in a Subash Ghai film is like grabbing 15 minutes of fame and leaving an in-making stable career in TV behind. Zee TV and 4Lions are right. Its a legal contract and you cannot cheat them like this. Rishabh is making the same mistake that numerous ones have made before him.

Plus how can Rishabh be so full of himself? He'l quit a show which may lead him to heights and which apparently bagged him a role in a movie, for a 20-30 min presence on big screen? I say rather stupid.
