Vicky Donor star Ayushmann says he never hid the birth of his son as he denounces 'yellow' journalism
Barely one-film-old in the industry, Ayushmann Khurrana has learnt the perils of fame the hard way.
Last month, a magazine ran the story that he had tried to shroud the birth of his one-year-old son in secrecy.
Clearly not very pleased, the Vicky Donor star has dismissed the report as yellow journalism.

"I had spoken about my son in two film magazine interviews about three to four months ago. So I was most surprised when another publication put it out there in a very yellow journalistic way," said Khurrana, who is currently super busy promoting his second film, the Rohan Sippy-directed Nautanki Saala.
The actor's wife Tahira had given birth to a baby boy in 2012 around the same time that Vicky Donor hit the theatres.
"I have no reason to hide that I am a father. It's a part of my life now. I am proud to be a father. If you ask me, I will tell you but I can't just wear a t-shirt and say, 'Hey I am a father'."
Khurrana, who has now signed a three-film deal with Yash Raj Films, went on to say that he is confident fatherhood will not harm his fan following.
The actor's debut film Vicky Donor derived most of its humour from the subject of sperm donation and Khurrana, who played a donor, joked, "If I am okay being the father of 53 kids in the film then what's wrong with me being a father in real life? It's a natural progression after getting married."
