But will that keep us hooked, as that side of the story would focus on 'life after re-marriage' or 'challenges of city life'. In either cases it would not be related to BV theme.

I agree that side would be much more interesting to watch, rather than food and farewell, but personally I feel it's time for the show to end gracefully.

Let them bring a convincing end to J-G-G's stories and make them live happily ever after, just as Anandi and end the show gracefully.

The director told in an interview that to get the theme back they got Ganga the BV into the show. So they will show Ganga getting educated and marrying jagya. On other track they will show how a balika vadhu is getting adjusted in her new life and progressing in her career too.

Esha your point is valid. But BV is also the journey of A. Yes it is a show based on child marriage but it has also dealt with a number of social issues, orthodox beliefs, regressive thinking and superstitions. Hence although the main crux has always remained bal vivah many other issues not related to bal vivah were also tackled.

The orthodox society has always considered women as someone who takes care of the family and home while the man fends to make ends meet. Women were always secondary to men not given education and equal rights. This has been portrayed well in the show as well. Hence for a child bride to break all these shackles and make an independent identity for herself will be her ultimate liberation in my POV. As a viewer its only my personal opinion that I will not be satisfied seeing A's journey end with her happy married life. The show will leave an incomplete feeling in my mind if they end it now.

Social challenges are not only faced in a village but even cities have their own sets of problems. BV has been a show sending out a social message to society to banish superstitions and some evil practices. Hence I personally don't see any harm if they were dealt with in the show as a part of A's journey. If she has to enter politics, these would be an integral part of her duty.

J is also a victim of child marriage and a product of the orthodox male dominating society. How he redeems and makes a life of his own will also be worth watching.

I understand that these tracks may probably not fancy all viewers but after watching balika Vadhu since its inception, a viewer like me would like to see the characters and the story reach a respectable conclusion before the show ends. Moreover if the CVs can mange to pull it off well with sensible tracks it will something which I would watch for sure. I have tried other shows/soaps even the ones with big banners and names but they have somehow not grabbed my interest. Hence if the CVs do justice and not dish out these lame tracks, they have a viewer in me. This is entirely my viewpoint which may not necessarily be viewed as important by everyone.

Anita, I agree. I like your view point. I hadn't thought in this depth - guess the over dose of food / celebrations is not letting my brain function... LOL

Yes, I do agree that A's progress will be a good example to the orthodox society and still connect to the main theme of BV.

Esha I don't blame you. These food carnivals and festival celebrations have been going on forever now 😆. I am also fed up of it and so ready for things to get moving now. Hopefully she reaches Udaipur tomorrow itself. On second thought I don't mind if they show them taking time to reach udaipur coz that way they will not be able to show A and S running to Jaitser for every small reason. 😆

There were times when I used to not to miss a single episode of BV. But since March 2013 I don't have much interest in it . Watch Shashank's scenes and Dadisa's scenes occasionally in the show.
Am more interested in watching Madhubala and Sanskaar .

Very true.. Those who still believed in the show after the replacement are increasingly becoming disgruntled with the present track and lack of any possible future stories (discounting the supposed love triangle that's coming up.. How many triangles do the CVs want to involve Jagya in? )..

BV might consider the option of taking a break and coming back with a second season - with better tracks and characters.. The CVs look like they seriously need a break! 😊
