He posted this on his twitter handle..and immediately he got hundreds of Retweets and favourites..yes his fans were overjoyed to know that the person they adored and admired so much, actually went through the thread they had made wherein they posted lots of questions that they intended to ask him if ever they met him..
HIM !! ' Yes..the very famous..the suave, charming, good-looking rockstar actor of Indian TV ' KARAN KUNDRA.. And to a lot of people across the globe; still Arjun Punj and Arjun Singhania.. And why not ?? After all, it was this name that paved the pathway to success that he was walking on today!
Where on one side his fans left no stone unturned to show their love for him ' from posts on his FB and Twitter accounts to videos and picture creations to fiction stories written keeping him in mind ' at the same time,even he never missed a chance to thank his fans for all this overwhelming affection they showered upon him ! He was one such person who always believed in staying grounded to one's roots, to never forget the people who made him stand on the pedestal where he is now and maybe that is why he is called KING K ' as humble as one, at that..
But of late, he saw a change in a lot of posts that were made about him.. He could sense that his fans were feeling that the old karan kundra is lost somewhere.. There were some particular posts that actually got to his attention ' "if this is what growing up means, then I prefer the immature Karan-kittu over this".. "I miss the old Karanika..with lots of masti always..somehow that smiles have vanished somewhere".. "Aajkal toh he doesn't reply also..i hope we get to see karan in his old self back soon.." !!
Vaise toh, he was used to a lot of negative comments also from a lot of people but he always took them in the positive sense as long as he knew that he also had millions of people who had loved him with the same sincerity and loyalty since the time "Kitani Mohabbat hai-1" aired its 1stepisode in 2009..
Then why were these comments bothering him?? Was it because they were filled with nostalgia and emotions that made him reminisce about the past ?? Or was it because he loved his fans too much that he could not see them being disappointed 'especially if it was because of him that they were sad?? He had been pondering too much on this since quite a few days now; his heart knew the answer but his mind was not ready to let him speak it out and accept it- all this was making him even more angry and frustrated.. "gussa-jo mujhe aata hai..khud par..tujh par..sab par.." These words never stopped ringing in his mind ever since he had sent that voice mail to HER !! There 'finally there came the reason.. It was not just his mentions in all these threads and posts that bothered him; but it was because another name was mentioned right besides his name in all those words ..KITTU'
"pyaar toh aaj bhi hai..aaj bhi uska naam sunta hu toh kuchh hota hai..jab bhi usse tv pe dekhta hu toh ek badi si smile aa jati hai mere face pe" ..he still remembered saying these words to Chhota karan ' billu ' who was extremely dejected and sad by the fact that his family ' karan bhaiya and kittu mummy (as he still fondly calls them)' can no longer be together..
It had been months since "they" were no longer together- and yet not a single day passed without him remembering the titles that he and kritika were adorned with during the time when they were in a relationship ' TV's cutest couple, the hottest off-screen pair, Best Jodi, the most romantic couple and the list was endless !! and ho bhi kyu naa, after all their chemistry was just like fire and ice ' they were so much in sync with each other that a slightest change in one and the other would know about it within a moment.. They met for the look test of their 1stshow together ' KMH and little did they know that this show would change their lives forever.. even during the time when they were not dating, he was always in constant awe of kittu ' a name that he started calling her by and she is still referred to by that till date- he always thought that she was the best co-actor one could ever work with; still remembered the valentines' special interview they gave on a leading news-channel where he did not hesitate even a moment to publicly accept how he was always attracted by her caring nature and her attitude towards life. Each moment that they had spent together is still as clearly etched in his memory as ever. What confused him was that despite the fact that the decision to not be together was a mutual one, why was he still not able to let go off those memories, why did places and situations around him still made him remember the times he had spent with her ?!?! And deep down in his heart, even he knew that even SHE was not able to let go off the memories from her heart- the memories that their fans very aptly term as "KARANIKA moments"..
