They were driving down a lonely road with only tall luscious trees in the surroundings. The calm, breezy air evoking the air left Khushi breathless. The smell of fruits and dried leaves engulfed the atmosphere leaving a serene, beautiful and peaceful fragrance.
Khushi sat back down on her car seat and turned towards Arnav. She shot him a mischievous look, kicked of her shoes and placed her spidery long legs on his lap. He smirked amusedly and turned toward her in curiosity. He could literally smell her naughtiness; he parked the car at the end of the road, looked towards Khushi and jumped on top of her.
She shrieked in laughter while she tried struggling out of his strong hold. She glared at him to behave but melted when she saw his playful puppy dog eyes. He glided on top of her while placing smooth kisses along her leg to her stomach to her chest and finally at her neck. He placed his head at the crook of her neck and began to nuzzle at her sensitive spot under her earlobe. She moaned in pleasure and looped her arms around his neck while letting him do all the work. He finally pulled out and pressed his ever ready lips on to hers and began kissing her passionately. He smirked against her lips while she smacked his chest annoyingly. He pressed harder onto her lips evoking a moan which made Khushi bite his lower lip in frustration.
Unfortunately, being the humans they both were, they had to break apart with the need of oxygen. Arnav placed his head against Khushi's rapidly beating heart while she laid her head against the car door calming herself and her raging hormones down.
Arnav reluctantly got back up to his seat, straightened himself and Khushi out and began to drive again. Curiosity building up, Khushi asked "Arnav? Where in the name of sweet baby Jesus are you taking me?" Arnav laughed and said "Surprise baby! You'll have to wait and watch'" Khushi pouted at Arnav and looked out the glass window and absorbed herself in the beautiful scenery.
After driving for another hour, Arnav came to a stop in front of a stunning little cottage amidst the woods. Khushi got out of the car and stood in awe of the small little house which was situated in the middle of all of the colorful trees.
She walked towards Arnav while he placed his arms around her waist from behind and said "Do you like it?" Khushi could only nod against his chest while a low chuckle blurted out. He grasped her hand firmly with his and led her towards the threshold.
He picked her up in his arms while she let out a shocked squeal. He laughed and shook his head which earned him another slap.
"Arnav what are you doing?"
"I am carrying you inside my house..."
"This is your house?!?"
"Yep! But I only come here during the weekends to relax on my own. It was a birthday gift from my Dad, apart from my family, nobody else knows about this place. And now that you do as well, I wanted to let you know that from today onwards this house is both of ours. I wanted to take you away from everyone. This also happens to be my thinking spot so whenever I am upset I come here. Hopefully, you will like Khushi."
Khushi looked at Arnav in awe. She pulled his face closer and placed a soft, loving kiss on his lips. Using no words she shot him an appreciative look which stated how much this meant to her. Acknowledging the fact, Arnav kissed her forehead and walked into the house.
As Khushi looked around she smelt a slight exotic smell of Wood and Timber evoking the house. She noticed the vintage charm added to every part of the house. Walking in to the living room, Arnav pushed her down onto the comfy warm sofa and jumped on her while pulling her into his arms. She nestled her head into the crook of his neck while he placed a soft yet firm kiss onto her neck. Pulling her over him, he looked out towards the window and sighed.
"You know Khushi, this is exactly how I have always pictured are lives to be like. Just you and me and our little world. I know we both are only 18 but please don't ever leave me. I would cease to exist if something ever happened to you. You are the light in my life and as cheesy as it may sound, I am head over heels in love with Khushi Gupta." Stated Arnav looking into her eyes. The same honey brown orbs moistened with unshed tears, Arnav wiped away a lone tear threatening to fall on her flawless face. Khushi looked back at him with pure love and kissed his closed eyelids as a form of a reply. He opened them at the touch of her lips when she said "Arnav, I don't have any words in my vocabulary to express to you how much you mean to me. I don't think I have ever felt this way about anybody before and I cannot bare to live without you, so no, I am not planning to leave you any time soon and to be more precise, I am stuck to you for the rest of our lives and I wouldn't have it any other way!"
Arnav smiled at her thought felt confession, kissed her cheek and said "I will gladly accept that offer sweetheart! But promise me Khushi, there will be no secrets at all between us, no matter what you have to promise me that you will tell me everything whether or not it will affect me, you or our relationship."
Khushi reluctantly disentangled herself from Arnav and fearfully nodded her head looking everywhere but at him. Arnav sensing her change of mood, got up, put his finger under her chin and turned her towards him and questioningly asked "What happened Khushi?" Khushi shook her head negatively and shrugged it off saying "Arnav, I'm bored! Why don't we watch a movie?" Arnav letting the curiosity fade agreed thoughtfully and took out some movies.
Since he was the only one living in the house, there were only action movies stocked up which made Khushi scrunch up her face in annoyance while Arnav burst out laughing at his munchkin. "Jeez Arnav! Do you even watch Jackie Chan? You have like 25 movies here!" asked Khushi in frustration. Arnav laughed and said "Sorry babe but it's the only movies I have!" Khushi groaned but suddenly lit up in excitement. "Oh my god! I almost forgot! I brought a couple of movies with me to give to Tanya! I still have them in my bag!" said Khushi jumping up to grab her bag. She rummaged through the contents until she found the movies. She grabbed them out and looked at Arnav in victory. He laughed and rolled underneath the bed quilt when she showed him the movies.
"Seriously Khushi? You expect me to watch mushy romance movies with you?" asked Arnav.
Khushi jumped on the bed, cuddling into Arnav which left him no option so he agreed while she played on 'The Notebook'
An hour and 45 minutes later, Khushi was in tears while Arnav had to control himself from not laughing at his poor munchkin's state. She was weeping badly during Noah and Allie's separation scene and was clutching his shirt tightly sobbing uncontrollably. He gave up and burst out laughing.
She looked at his with narrowed eyes and started hitting him with the pillow. The scene soon turned into pillow fights which lead to both of them falling on top of each other giggling like crazy people.
She kissed his forehead and snuggled into him while he calmed down and tightened his hold on her letting the sunset go down in peace'
