Hello Everyone🤗

The countdown has begun😎...finally its on!

We hope many of you are excited as much as us because the sixth season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) has kicked off .

IPL is the most watched cricket league in the world - a combination of cricket and entertainment, slowly growing into became a worldwide phenomenon like other leagues. It is a tournament with seventy-six matches, spread all across the country where the leading international cricketers with Indian cricketers battle it out against each other in the Twenty20 format.

This year's IPL has a new team in Sunrisers Hyderabad, previously known as Deccan Chargers. Nine teams will battle against each other for the trophy and provide entertainment for cricket lovers.

With the games having officially begun on April 3rd, one would certainly want to look at the teams that are participating this year !

I'm pretty sure new IPL fans definitely would like to know more!

Kolkata Knight Riders

The Returning Champions from 2012! Having gone through the ups and downs of IPL, the team was able to win the title during the last IPL. Led by Gautam Gambhir, it is one's curiosity if the team can recreate the magic again this year!

Chennai Super Kings

Touted to be the most successful team on IPL, the Chennai Super Kings had won the IPL title for two consecutively, back in 2010 and 2011. In 2012, they reached the finals once again but lost to the Kolkata Knight Riders. Led by M.S. Dhoni, will the team retain their position?

Mumbai Indians

The Mumbai Indians has proved to be the most consistent and active of the teams since the last three tournaments. Ponting, Lasith Malinga, Pollard, Mitchell Johnson and Tendulkar - can come together to give fans a lot to cheer about.On the other side, they have to yet be the winners in Indian Premiere League.

Bangalore Royal Challengers

The RCB may have a point to prove after just missing out on the semi-finals last year. They've recruited well ' or more specifically, they've recruited Australian all-rounders well. Bangalore will rely heavily on big-hitting opener Chris Gayle and their new captain Virat Kohli.

Delhi Daredevils

The Capital city's squad, Delhi Daredevils boast one of the most explosive batting line-ups in the league and finished off as first in last years pool table.
With Mahela Jayawardene as their newly captain, and top batting line up Sehwaq, Warner, Pietersen will they be able to re-create last years success?

Rajasthan Royals

The Royals have never challenged for the trophy since Shane Warne led them to the inaugural IPL title in 2008. They have a squad that could pose a lot of problems for opposition teams, particularly their fast bowling stocks which feature frightening pacemen Fidel Edwards and Shaun Tait so they won't be lacking for motivation this season. Will Rahul Dravid led to vitctory this season?

Kings XI Punjab

At Kings XI Punjab, experience meets the promise & passion, skill meets strategy, and the winning attitude is the driving force. Lead by veteran cricketer Adam Gilchrist, KXIP comprises of a fine team of young and experienced players. Will 2013 be the year of the Kings? Panga Na Lo!

Pune Warriors India

With a bunch of all-rounders in the line-up, the Warriors boast of, at least on paper, one of the strongest middle-orders in the league. With Mathews leading the team and Yuvi returning back will they be able to rise up this season?

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Replacing the Deccan Chargers, the Sunrisers Hyderabad is the new team to be joining IPL this year. Led by Kumar Sangakkara, it will be interesting to see how well this team fares in its first IPL innings !

I dont like cricket, and i dont watch cricket.. but whenever IPL comes around.. i always INTEND to watch and then it fizzles out HAHA.. but I do pick a team JUST FOR FUN and I usually pick the team based on overall CUTENESS 🤣 ...

and Im flustered at which to pick:

KKR (Gautam Gambhir) or RCB (Virat Kholi)
