Amulya does contain Sugar and the Judges should know this or had investigated before the decision. whoever is defending this should look @ the label and should research about sucrose and let me remind you all these are processed items.
Yes the Judges were 500% wrong and Kohku should have been awarded. She is indeed a very good cook and its comes straight from her heart, for her its not only about the prizes or money. She is totally a honest, very humble and kind hearted person. Creative cook and she thinks beyond the screen with her cooking. I am eroupean and have been to all countries and never seen anyone making those Paneer in capsicum. i love indian food but the decision was very biased. I also liked Kohku as she is very reel and does not act to gain support of anyone like Yashmeen. Total unjust by judges
I sympthaise wat Yashmeen is going through in regards to families funds but i am sure many people in India are worse then her. i know it for the fact because i am heavily involved with Charities and helping poor people. If i was ever to start up food chain resturants i would like to hire someone like Kohku. Very pleased with her, i wish she does gain some self confidence, i feel she is always scared or does not want to offend people.
the above is just my view.

I missed the Friday episode.. If Yasmeen used Amulya to make the sweet, then it is definitely wrong since Amulya does contain sugar..
Not fair!

This is masterchef so the person who according to the judges cooks better wins, it is not about being poor. Besides I cant stand shows where people have to show their life stories to garner sympathy, all I have seen is how Yasmin and Khoku are poor need the money, but dont forget the rest of the contestants they are as good as these 2. I feel both khoku and yasmin deserved the super power coz they made better dishes than the rest and not because they are poor, I am looking at the contestants talent.

yes agree that it is according to the judges but when they define the parameters for the challenge, they should judge within those parameters themselves. when they said "without the use of added sugar" and the contestant used a processed food product that contains sugar, how is it fair to the other contestants?

I am a pharmacist and as far as sugar and diabetics, they need to avoid to the extent possible. It is not possible to avoid all sugar as even complex carbs are broken down to sugar in the body. my dad was a diabetic so have that experience as well

personally i don't think her desert was suitable for diabetics because irrespective of the presence or absence of added sugar, the calorific content and fat content was too high with the use of mawa, coconut, dry fruits etc.

not healthy
