With all due respect to the three judges, they made a mistake today in the decision.

the challenge was to NOT use sugar, jaggery etc and yet make a sweet preparation. Yasmin used condensed milk to make her dish. Last time i checked the ingredients - it was milk and SUGAR!!!!!
she did not meet the requirements of the challenge. Thus the decision was wrong. I feel bad for Khoku.

Really? Did she use condensed milk? I didnt pay attention to that.

I checked online to see ingredients of Amul Condensed Milk. Yes they have sugar. This is not fair. Khoku should be winner.

Chef Kunal and Vikas even told her that using condensed milk was the usual method and where was her twist?

That's not true. She used "mawa" which means khoya or solidified milk. Mawa does not contain any sugar. It's only milk. She did NOT use condensed milk. This whole confusion is because of wrong subtitles. Whoever did the translation for subtitles wrote condensed milk for mawa. But please watch the recording again. They always used the word mawa.

yes, they were verbally talking about "mawa" ... it is just thickened milk with no sugar.
but condensed milk has sugar.
why they added wrong subtitles??????😲

i re watched the episode

chef kunal said, "ye jo mawa ke barfi bana rahe hai, isme nayi soch nahi hai"
with subtitle it should have been, "using thickened milk is not new thing" ...
but instead they wrote condensed milk !!!!!

they should show us recipes !!!!!

edit:
wait... when they all went to went to amul parlor to pick up ingredients, yasmeen clearly says she picked up "amulya" ... does any one what's the composition?????
but "amulya" is not condensed milk, amul's condensed milk is "mithai mate" ... correct me if i am wrong !!!

but i feel "amulya" has sugar !!!!!! please correct me if i am wrong here ... so where does the decision stands, fair or unfair???

Amulya does contain sugar. Amulya can be substituted for condensed milk.

This is information about Amulya, which says the ingredients are partly skimmed milk and sucrose. Sucrose is scientific name for table sugar.

And about Sucrose
