Daaadi sa ⭐️ some love her some hate her but nobody can ignore her. 😃

Opportunity is the key
An NSD graduate, Sikri holds opportunity is a big word in the entertainment medium. "Your talent is useless, unless you get a role. The bottom line is script is the backbone of any performance. I can make a character layered, as people say Dadi sa is, only if script gives me an opportunity to be vulnerable and arrogant at the same time. I am fortunate that I got to play all I wanted in theatre; otherwise it is quite frustrating for an actor. "
As for how much she associates with Dadi-sa, Sikri says, "See, I love to play characters which are true to themselves. It helps me in making them convincing. Beyond that it is all script." She is all praise for young Avika Gaur, who is playing the title role. Some cynics have found her an actress with a single expression, but Surekha begs to differ. "She is too young to bring in the layering. For her age, she is quite expressive. Give her a chance, she will excel."

Thanks for the post.

Leaving aside., the humble and great words by "Daadisaa" - one another line caught my attention...😉

I was surprised to find., there were 'Cynics' who were not happy with Avika 's acting too ...😲😆

and U know what...this really put to rest the doubts am' having on myself recently ( If am' any lesser mortal in embracing the change in the face of Anandi and trying to appreciate her performance...).

people used to get irritated with Avika all the time .. saying that her crying was OTT and irritating.

She was also termed as the most over rated actress :)

I remember those days.

There will always be cynics for everyone-even if someone gives their 102%.

True suchi...without surekhaji the show will be bland...she adds spice to the show...even when she is irritating with jagya jaap...I love her conversations with shiv.

Uma, that statement was the first thing that caught my eye too.

AWWW so this acceptance of change generated anxiety in you 🤗

Embracing the change is the best policy in today's transient and ever changing world. We should change our preferences accordingly. Specially where we cannot do a thing...the person concerned was not getting a sense of satisfaction and meaning hence needed a change. I just realized how transient her preferences and values were😕 ... so I as a viewer also exercised the same transientness😳.

Illusion of stability ...do you expect Coldplay & Rihanna to blaze merrily

forever? 😉 BTW I absolutely loved their progressive rock music at the Paralympic closing ceremony.😊

Lets enjoy our assertion of continuity for now!!

AWWW Suchi a little research showed me btw pages 600 to 800 that Khushi & You were fighting for Pratz as Aji at that time. I did not go that back to see how ruthlessly was Avika admonished without floundering at all. 😛

But you really are a true Anandi admirer... Would go & have gone to any lengths to protect the character. Rain, goli, bandook u have jheloed everything😳

Kudos to u hun 👏. All the bombs and guns & nukes nothing stopped you from being Anandi's protector 👍🏼
