After winning the entire nation's heart, Rakesh Roshan is planning to bring back to us Kaho Na Pyar Hai with a sequel. Confirms Rakesh" Yes its true that we have finally agreed to work on the sequel of 2000 block buster Kaho Na Pyar Hai, it has been one of my most special projects and it only makes me happier to make a sequel to it"

When asked about the cast Rakesh said" Who better than the actual, especially ameesha who still looks as young as she was when we signed her for KNPH with her glowing milky and silky skin"

Hrithik remained unavailable for the comment

When contacted ameesha, she expressed her happiness over it "i have been getting asthma attacks ever since Rakesh sir called and told me about it, its like my re-debut in bollywood all over again"

The film goes on floors in December 2013. Varun Dhawan may play Rohan's brother in the movie where as Jacquiline Fernandez is in consideration for playing his love interest.

I always thought they could make a sequel where Rohit returns as a villain, possibly in the form of a monster (ghost or mutated beast). Hrithik would also play the grown up version of Rohit's little brother. So there would be three Hrithiks in the movie. A fourth one could be added in the third film as the grown up son of Raj.
