This is a story of Kapoor family. Dayaram Kapoor, his wife, his mom and two kids(daughter and son).(1972 year story)
Dayaram's mom is devotee of Lord Hanuman and she does aarti everyday. Dayaram is tto much involved in work and is not interested in taking blessings when his mom brings prashad and aarti to him and neither he shows interested when his wife brings breakfast for him (showing disrespect to bhagwan and food).
Dayaram had made deal of land for his company worth of 15 lakh with Satyaprakash(the owner of land). His boss ask for papers so that he can give 15 lakh but the papers are misplaced. The boss is very upset and does not believe in dayaram and ask him to go to Satyaprakash's house to get duplicates of papers so prove his innonance. But when dayaram reach there Satyaprakash is dead and Satyaprakash's son said that they never signed contract papers for land and ask him to get out of the house.
Here boss goes to police station and files report against Dayaram for stealing money. Dayaram is arrested and police are hitting him and yelling at him where he has kept money.
Dayaram's mother and wife goes to boss's house and pleads that Dayaram is innocent but boss also pust them out of the house nad insults them. Dayaram's mom is upset with and goes to the lord Hanuman's idol and says she does not believe in god and she will not see his face till her son is proved innocent and won't eat anything.
Here Police thinks the death of Satyaprakash is due to Dayaram so they beat him up to know the truth. Dayaram aalways says that he is innocent.
Dyaram's son is very hungry and there is no food cooked in the house so he sits near the beggar where a person is giving food. Dayaram's daughtes sees this and Dayaram's wife and mom goes there and are very sad and upset and brings him home. The person also insults them saying he gives food to poor people and not to murder's or thief;s family.
Dayaram's mom ask Dayaram's wife why she did not give food to the kids. Kids themself told they wanted to fast like grandma.
Dayaram's mom dreams that Lord Hanuman is in front of her and asking her to eat and gives her banana. And tells her that everything will be alright and do aarti and believe in Lord Ram. Dayaram's mom is wakes up and reads Ram Charitra Manas along with all family.
Police cannot find any evidence against Dayaram so they allow him to go home. He comes home but thinks how can he face his family so he tries to commit sucide. Just then a man comes and saves him and say "if you die he will never be proven innocent and who will take of the family and they will have to take burden of his misdeed which he has not done." That man ask him to go home and fight to prove that he is innocent.
He goes home and everyone is happy. Mom says lord Hanuman will take care of everything. He yells at every one saying god has done nothing for him etc…… Just then a sweeper somes there and give some papers. These are the poof that the property was bought etcc….Dyaram gives him money but he says I do not want any money but I want banana from mother's hand. Dyaram's mom gives him bananas. The sweeper goes. Dayaram sees same sweeper sweeping road from other side and call him and says how did he sweeped the road so fast. The sweeper says he just came to work.
Dayaram realise this was all done by Lord Hanuman and he starts believeing in god.
