Iqbal Khan and Sneha will exchange rings today. And no one except family is invited please

Actor Iqbal Khan will be getting engaged today to his longtime girlfriend Sneha. "It's going to be a very private affair and I have not invited anyone from the industry," says Iqbal.

Iqbal will go to Sneha's place with his parents where they will have a quiet ring ceremony. "Sneha is not a public figure so she doesn't want any media attention. My parents are also from different professions, so they become conscious when they see photographers and journalists around," says Iqbal.

The actor has bought a beautiful solitaire ring for Sneha. "I took her out shopping and she selected the ring. I don't have any idea about jewellery and I think it's best to take the person who will be wearing the ring," he says.

However, Iqbal hates wearing jewellery. "I am not sure whether I will be wearing my wedding ring throughout my life. I do not like wearing gold and diamonds. I don't think men look good in jewellery. But I think I'll wear the ring for a year, because that's what the tradition demands," he says.

Currently Iqbal is enjoying his work at Balaji. Did Ekta's attitude change after he declared that he wants to quit Balaji? "No. There has been no such problem. I was wondering how people in Balaji would react, but I think they all understood that fact that my problem was genuine and they are giving me sometime off," he says.

Iqbal is in no hurry to join the rival camp of Sandiip Sikcand. "I have not been offered any roles and I am not doing any new shows," clarifies Iqbal.

does that mean that he is not quitting the show??? cause he said in the article that ekta is giving him some time off. if thats so then i am really happy!!!!! 😛

so does this means that its today, 17th November, tehy'd be exchanging rings as it says in teh article, good for them and Best of luck to both
btw, is there realy a tradition that man has to wear the ring for 1 year, i didnt know that , does someone else know abt it?

Iam confused whether he is quitting or taking some time off.But anyways thanks.Wish him and sneha best of luck for their future.
