I am seriously asking.

I don't think in any of SONY's shows, the household bahus are shown with pallus on their heads. Correct me if I'm wrong. So why this, that too it's weird that the MIL doesn't wear one. Yeah, yeah orthodox/traditional whatever. But they didn't need to show the bahus donning the ghoonghat--especially when Uma doesn't wear one. Or am I missing something?

Same question and I did NOT like that 😳 Why do they have that?! That's for the typical SP saas bahu heroines! I hope they change that, I don't want to see the typical SP stuff in this show. I didn't like the three bahus at all. Does this happen in other Sony shows? I haven't watched many but from the ones I have seen, they don't have these dupattas on their heads.

I think they have it so that Chanchan can help them get rid of it once she gets married...something like what they showed in the promo. Just a guess...

As far as I know the Sony shows don't. The elders in some, yes. But that's about it.

@bold Yes, I was wary to say it outright (because of all the disagreement regarding whether the show is typical saas-bahu), but it puts me off. It just makes this show look even more like a typical saas-bahu show. And even if the plan is so Chan Chan won't wear it, and thus marking a victory or point for her, it still puts me off. It especially looks forced because as my topic itself points out, the MIL doesn't cover her head.

@capricorn, yeah that came to my mind as well. But as I said above, it is not needed. (I also didn't see all the promos, so I didn't know there was a promo somewhat addressing this.)

i am not aware if it is done in Sony or not. i just know SP bahus.. so i think they have them on so that CC will get them off eventually!

as for the UB thins even iw as wondering how come she didn't have hers if the DILs were supposed to have them..

lol exactly.. i also was thinking the same.. i don't at ALL want Chhan Chhan to wear Gunghat..no way in hell!n i doubt she will other than for the wedding, even then she will not at all cover her face!

but i really really want to see Sanaya in ghunghat cz she looks adorable in it..lol i guess this is a catch 22 situation lol 😆

About 3 bahus------In sony Saas bina sasural 3 or more than 3 bahus were there in that show.That show too - same PH.

exactly i felt the same that wen umaben is not wearing it.. y will chhan chhan wear.. but with this topic they will show CC changing the custom! 😃
