After Iqbal Khan, now it is actor Rajev Paul aka Rana in Karam Apna Apna, who has decided to voice his discontent to Ekta Kapoor. The actor is unhappy about his role not shaping up as promised in the serial. He disappeared from the show after the initial few episodes. The actor has already discussed his problem with Ekta several times before, but nothing concrete has come out of the meetings so far.

Says a source in the production house, "Rajev has not been offered many roles by Balaji after Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and Kavyanjali. Now, he has only one Balaji show in which he does not really play an important character. He had several talks with the production house and Ekta, but what can we say? It is entirely Ekta's discretion whether she wants him to be there or not."

When contacted, Rajev seemed reluctant to express his grievances. He said, "Yes, I have spoken to Ekta and she has assured me that my role would unwind into one of the prominent tracks in the serial. I know how a daily soap works and how a screenplay changes at the eleventh hour." So, what is his equation with Ekta? "I have full faith in Ekta. I've been asked to do some new shows with Balaji, but nothing has been finalised as yet. Moreover, I have my wife Delnaaz to give me company in Karam… And I am sure Delnaaz and my character will be the talk of the town soon," he added.

Doris Dey, deputy creative director of Karam Apna Apna said, "Rajev's character is yet to get prominence in the serial because as of now the story is focussing on other characters. But, I am sure his track will also get prominence in the coming months. As far as Ekta is concerned, I don't think there is any problem between them."
