Pari, I agree Ovi the character has "grown" or at least developed other facets to an otherwise one-sided personality. Shruti is doing a marvelous job. That said, just because Ovi has 'grown" I am not ready to accept that she has grown positively. The writers have developed her character and that is a good thing. They have taken a butcher knife to Arjun's character and slaughtered him mercilessly.@ bold, I never alluded to Ovi's inappropriate ideas of a Purvi-Arjun affair. Since you brought that up, it falls in line with what I was saying in my earlier post, Ovi can never get the bhooth of Purvi from her head whether there is anything afoot between Arjun and Purvi or not. Purvi left town far, far away from their lives, Ovi still insisted on getting drunk while being pregnant, wanted to have an abortion, why? Because she still knew Arjun hankered after Purvi. No one knew where Purvi even was but that didn't stop the demons in Ovi's head and heart. I pity her (the credit for that goes to Shruti) but condone her for her behavior, I never will. I can understand the motives behind her behavior but that does not make me excuse her.As for Arjun walking out of the marriage, I have oft repeated that I am puzzled by it too. In fact, wrote a post a while back that maybe, just maybe, he feels Purvi is not the person for him. She is this idol on a pedestal but he feels that Ovi is "right" for him. Who knows the twisted thinking of the CVs? Even if this were so, a hint here or there might help us decipher his totally shredded to smithereens character. I watch Sapne Suhana Ladakpan Ki on and off and was pleased by Mayank's decision in it to divorce his wife who he was forced to marry. Whether he is allowed to go through with the divorce or not is another matter entirely but just the fact that he took a stand and made a decision raised him in my esteem. Arjun sadly is lacking a backbone. I did not like his speech at the recent party either, the hints at how Purvi had changed him and then the fake gratitude towards Ovi. If I were Ovi and he were my husband, I would have smacked him hard, then and there, hurled the vase or something. As for the jodi re-uniting, I am not sure I want that (not that my wants are going to be configured into how this serial plays out). Arjun did not love Purvi enough to stop himself from making a child with Ovi (should have been a physical impossibility for him to have been even momentarily attracted to Ovi if he was head over heels in love with Purvi, drugged, forced, coerced whatever - that is what undying pavitra ristha or true love should mean), he is out of the picture for me for Purvi by that mere fact. He cannot have his cake and eat it too. He chose to move on with Ovi, he should. However evil she is, it is his wife and not fair to her. He can divorce her if he cannot live with her any longer but back with Purvi is a no, no. To me, he cannot make sheep's eyes at Purvi any longer, however much his heart longs, he should keep his feelings hidden and under wraps. This, of course, does not change my opinion about Ovi's nakras.Onir, on the other hand, has been shown as a perfect husband and human being (turning a blind eye on the baby exchange), why on earth would any girl in her right mind give up on him? Balks the mind. The CVs, of course, will make changes as suits them, they may kill one or the other off (Onir or Ovi), make Ovi be falsely pregnant or who knows show that she got in vitro fertilization even (far fetched, idiotic but wouldn't put it past the craziness of the CVs) or even bring Romil back into the picture, make Onir a villain - all this if the writers desire to bring Arjun and Purvi back together despite all the hungama.
