Madhuri always looked more mature than her age. I thought she was in her 30s in 90s.

Its not so much that he respected her. He respected all the actresses back then. The new ones are younger so he flirts with them and teases them. He's never fallen for someone on set, except Rai. And what a mistake that turned out to be! 😡 It almost cost him everything. He started dating Somy and Katrina before they became actresses. He was already dating Sangeeta before he became an actor.

Back on topic, he was totally mesmerized by Madhuri when she did Didi tera dewar on Jhalak. He had a huge grin on his face and was in awe of her. But that's it. I don't think they were even friends back then. They just got along great. Madhuri is into SRK and she is not Salman's type. He likes them tall. 😉
