I read as per novel Saras never wants to marry after Kumud refuses to marry him as she is widow and leaves to take care of her husbands house. But Kumud emotionally blackmails him not to be a bachelor all life and emotionally blackmails him to marry her sister Kusum if he truly loves her.

What are the chances in this modern serial that Saras will be emotionally blackmailed by Kumud to marry her sister? Saras is anyway too soft and innocent and finds his happiness in making others happy. So will he marry Kusum to make Kumud happy as he loves her a lot?

Also in novel the men of story are very forward thinking whether it is LVN or Kumud's father-in-law or Saras or VC who are all fine with Kumud(widow) marrying Saras(unmarried bachelor) compared to women in the novel who all oppose or do not want that to happen. Will it be the same in this serial?

In Gau Hatya case all women were fine with Saras getting punished for Gau hatya and none thought to oppose it except may be Kumud(who again never bothered to call police and law take its own course) instead pleaded with panditji to reduce the sentence on behalf of Saras. Even VC who is thought is modern was fine with all the things happening and kept quiet. What is the chance that such a family will support Kumud's(widow) remarrige to Saras. Guman also may oppose it because she anyway dislikes VC and family. Dukhba and Yash mother will gaurantee oppose her marriage as they dislike Saras and LNV. And Kumud to please everryone will force Saras to marry Kusum against his wishes.

So in end only LNV, Saras and Kumud's father-in-law will be trying to get Kumud married while rest all oppose.

I dont think the serial will be totally based on the book, they will modify it to suit the telivision audience. I hope the ending is different. I think kumud's family eventually come around and support her! Saras marrying kumud will be 🤢

Nope, she is not a widow but according to the book on which the serial is based she will become one in future!

First of all, I love your icon! Dean Winchester all the way! 😆

Saraswatichandra is actually a series based on a book. In the book, Kumud marries someone else. Her husband dies, she becomes a widow, and all the men in her family support her getting remarried to the still-bachelor Saras. So she's not a widow in the series, but in the book, she does become one!

I really, really hope that the show doesn't follow the exact plot of the novel. But knowing SLB and his thing with tragedy, it seems likely for the plot to follow some tragic course of events! Still, I'm going to be silly enough to hope SLB keeps these two together! 😳

Hopefully they don;'t go the book route, as they will lose half the audience just there.

ah..if they show kumud a widow in future,we will still want her to marry saras...PKYEK was also based on twilight,but it was modified a lot...same goes for this i guess 😊

i hope they marry at the end in spite of all odds! well, the end is miles away, i just want to enjoy the show at present!

hopefully kumu's parents do not succumb to dukhbaa's and villagers like panditji's old philosophy. If you observe in house everything happens as per dukhbaaa

marriage happens in last scene of serial so how will they lose any audience? Till last scene all of us will be guessing will it happen or not? The author of novel keeps suspense till end about marriage.
