What is annaprashan ?? Birthday ??

and its hilarious how the little kid is hiding her face with one hand like Manoj Kumar, Beware little one...Bharat Kumar ne dekh liya to case ho jaayega 😆

Its a ceremony where a child is fed Rice for the first time, I guess in olden days when we didn't have baby food and all, they used to introduce soft rice...But now its more of following the customs, but is done at a temple by a priest...

Not sure about other cultures but in Andhra its a big thing where baby's maternal uncle feeds the baby his/her first bite😃
