- He finds it hard to control his smiles and smirks when he sees a clearly jealous and fuming Zoe going on and on about Zarodozi's bathroom issues.
- He gulps down his anger like a cough syrup when Zoe turns Nirma's bathroom into a free fountain show.
- He processes and dismisses his feelings in a nano second when he sees Zoe playfully hopping in water and saying that Tanveer's bathroom is back in action.
- He doesn't howl at Zoe for ruining his three piece suit, his apparently super expensive watch and making him late for his office.
- He decides against returning Zoe's earring and storms out of the bathroom.
- He admits to Zoe and Salwaar Kameez that he loses his head over Zoe now and then. And if it goes on like this, he will go insane because of Zoe.
Hmm. Its like there is a schism in Asad's personality now. The original dragon Asad and the new and improved smirking and kind falling-in-love Asad. He is a different man around Zoe now - tolerant, smiling , smirking at her adorable jealous antics and enjoying the attention she gives him and the affect he has on her. And then... the original Asad boxes his ears and he snaps out of that balm of love and steps back.
Like he said it today , this oscillation between loving Zoe and then trying to un-love Zoe is actually driving him mad - giving him a multiple personality disorder. Zoe is his dream but he is still chained to his reality. How difficult it is to love someone with such intensity and yet resist her with your life.
Asad is in love with Zoe but his ancient belief that he will suffer and cause suffering in love refuses to go. What can make Asad take that GIANT leap of faith that will free him from his own shackles and send him running into Zoe's arms?
And Zoe? Unaware, she is fighting a battle of hearts too. Its not like she is completely oblivious on the subconscious level that why she feels and behaves different around Asad. Today, when she opened that music box, the pain, the recollections and the emotions were not about her father. They were about Asad and how she had felt seeing another woman in Asad's arms. The tears that rolled down her cheeks at that moment were not for her father - they were for Asad . A feeling of Saudade over him. It is what we have often said. Zoe came all the way from New York to Bhopal , looking for her father and her lost roots. But destiny added a twist to that story. The father became a route and Asad became the destination. Gaffur is a roadmap while Asad is Zoe's destination and her home. That is why for an instant the faint memories of her childhood were replaced by Asad's memories when she opened that music box.
Does Zoe want to face it that she is truly in love with Asad? No. She refuses to even think in that direction and she said it today that she has come here in the search of her father - she is not going to think about what her Jahanpanah does in his personal life. However, her tears said a different story.
But as Samar said it - "Dil kab seedhi raah chalaa hai?" Within minutes of choosing her father over Asad , the moment Zoe saw Tanveer going into Asad's bathroom, the jealous, possessive and furious woman-in-love inside her leaped forth and kicked Gaffur's daughter aside. And this is how it went- What is she doing in your bathroom? How can you let her use your bathroom? I don't care where her bathroom is - Sahara or Gobi , but there is no way she gets to use your bathroom! Even if that means i have to fix her mess myself!
Pyaar mein plumber bhi bann gayi aap Mohtermaa, lekin phir bhi aapko Asad se mohabbat qubool nahiin? Tum toh sacch mein denial mein Asad ki partner niklii. 😆...
Denials on both the sides are only going to make lives miserable for both of them. Asad will be a ruin without Zoe and Zoe will always keep looking back , in the hope that Asad is right behind her - as her back.
For the rest, please explain Ayaan to me. Irrespective of the fact that you made a pact with devil - a commitment is a commitment , right? Razia is a vamp but shaitaani mein bhi apne imaan ki pakki hai. She trusted Ayaan and making a deal with him , gave him 1 crore cash. Ayaan was in his complete senses when he gave her the commitment that he will marry Humeira. Toh abb kya ho gayaa? Zubaan ki, apne imaan ki koi keemat nahiin hai? Or are you suddenly feeling like a victim, Ayaan? One minute, you are all gung-ho spine waala hero and the second minute, you get ice cold feet? Nobody is a victim Ayaan. We all choose. If, now, after your father being out , Nikhat's wedding taking off , you are thinking of ways of wriggling out of this alliance - let me know, how exactly should i see you?
As for Tanveer, she is taking full advantage of Asad's gullibility , his naivete and his honour as a man alongwith pulling a colourful cover over Zoe's innocent eyes. Standing next to an all wet Asad and trying to feel him up. Don't tell me that you want to prove all the allegations on you by Razia true. I have no hopes from Asad because of his platonic affection for Zardozi and his own gullible nature. Zoe gives me hope as she came on the right time and stopped Tanveer from touching Asad. Besides , Zoe receiving a call from Tanveer's staff has to mean something. If at all, someone can protect Asad from Tanveer's designs, its Zoe. Asad is emotional. Zoe is practical when she is not melting in Asad's love.
The black magic curveball sounds interesting and it seems Razia is back on her chessboard. And Zoe closing in on finding Gaffur is only gonna send Razia into a Kill Bill mode. Alert, Asad.
Oh, and how can i not mention Zoe's compliment to Asad today ?

P.S- Zoe coming to Bhopal to look for Gaffur , but meeting Asad and slowly weaving her whole life around him. Zoe going astray from her father's search and investing herself in Asad. Zoe binding herself to Asad with the same intense emotions that she has for her father. Zoe having so many hits and misses with her father so that she can find her relationship with Asad. Today, for a second, her childhood's faint memories getting replaced with Asad's memories and the heartache involved while looking at the music box - all this shows that between being Gaffur's daughter and Asad's soulmate, being Gaffur's daughter is her journey and being Asad's soulmate is her destination. Its only when Zoe exits the comforts of Asad's home, his protection and his love that she will understand how cruel the world is outside. What she is looking for is only going to make her unhappy and what is right next to her is her only solace. Destiny's plan, Zoe. When will you get it?
