New Article by rival site of 1100 Episodes

Neela Telefilms' Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, on SAB TV, that has been tickling the funny bones for years together now, completed 1,100 episodes yesterday (25 March 2013).

Yes, this comic show with its impressive impact has managed to entertain viewers for a long period of time now.

However, we hear that the cast and crew of the serial was busy shooting even yesterday. Well, indeed a very hardworking team we must say.

When we contacted producer Asit Modi, he said, "It feels amazing to complete 1,100 episodes and the entire credit goes to my team. We have been consistently working hard to maintain the numbers. But the fact is that we have not only managed to maintain the quality of the show, we also climbed up the TRP ladder with each passing day. This is exactly what pushes us to do better work."

Talking about celebrations, the elated producer says, "We will have a party soon."
