That verse perfectly explains how Rashi was today but let me not rant on her. There is nothing left to say about her, her mother or that husband and MIL of theirs except that they can rot in whatever place there is for those who need to be punished for their deeds.
I actually wanted to understand the quality of forgiveness. Forgiveness that my large hearted Koki gave to UrShi after their despicable acts in the past two days.. Forgiveness that comes at such easy terms for these two but that proves so costly for those around them.
I am talking about the woman who was wrongly accused of plotting to kill an unborn child, a woman who stood and held her head high against the accusations and the woman who forgave, oh.. so generously, her accusers without making a big issue of it..
She did it on her own. Gopi did ask Koki to let Rashi enjoy the companionship of her mother𤢠Good thing in one way. This atleast saves GoKi from being accused time and again of 'torturing' Rashi. But Koki forgave Rashi even without being apologized to. She forgave Urmi and showed a dignity that UrShi can never match. She even congratulate Urmi on the news of the twins and wished Rashi well without any hard feelingsâď¸
Koki made me proud that I am her fan. I will take pride in the fact that in all this drama that UrShi did, she came out standing tall all by herself. She was this woman who was first accused publicly of wanting to kill Rashi's unborn child and then privately by Urmi. She stood protesting, not weakly but calmly about her innocence but somewhere she was still praying for the undeserving woman who was in bed and her for her child.
When the happy news broke, she was happy. Koki does not have an iota of the spitefulness or vengeance that UrShi carry. Her genuine happiness was heartwarming. I wish I had so much generosity and kindness in me as this woman. She is a strong person but a kind oneâď¸âď¸
But that was not all.. UrShi made hints of her 'torture'. Clever women.đ Rashi told the doctor that she did what Kakiji said "Itna kaam tho karna hi padta hai"𤢠Chi.. .Such a liar and a deceitful person.. She still has not realized the amount of danger she put her children into and is yet making Koki look badđ¤˘đ¤˘ Urmi hinted to support RashiđĄ
Just as I thought that no one would come to support Koki as she told the doctor that she did plan out equal times of rest and activity for Rashi.. Just when I though that the MOta Bhai parivaar would again use and throw this wonderful woman, Gopi to my happiness stood up and told everyone what happened. The truth.. And Rashi made a faceđ Such a đ¤Ź
Then the mouth of the esteemed Mr. Jigar opened to chide his wife a bit. .Oh yeah with tears of courseđ đ¤Ź
But no word of apology from anyone in that room. I expected Jigar or Mota Bhabhi atleast to stand up and say that they knew Koki was not wrong. Leave that, I wanted someone to apologize to Koki and tell her that words had been uttered in the heat of the moment, so sorry.. Is that not basic decency? Why is it that even this small thing is forgotten. Aren't we supposed to teach our kids that to ask for forgiveness is one of the basic qualities that makes us human. But no. .Mota Bhabhi was all smiles and so were the others about the happy news.. But what about what Rashi had said? đ I don't want anyone to be shouted at.. But isn't it Mota Bhabhi's duty to advice Rashi to ask Kokila for forgiveness?
But who am I kidding.. đ Of course that does not matter. Kokila is just a means to an end to Mota Bhabhi.. Her Devrani who can be taken for granted.. Oh I so want Koki to walk outđĄ
Only Gopi touched Koki on the shoulders. A mark of solidarityâď¸ She is in this with her Maaji. Gopi may be the biggest emotional fool ever but she has the heart of gold and respects and loves Koki completely.. She has the heart to feel sad for her Maaji and also the heart to feel happy for her cousin and her maami. A heart that forgave them for their insinuations.
More than her, it was Koki who had the heart not just to forgive but to pray for Rashi and the children's betterment. Her heartfelt thanks to Kanhaji was beautiful.
Kokila Parag Modi is a woman par excellence. She was put through so much but yet she did not waver. She stood tall and dignified among people like UrShi and spineless ones like Mota Bhabhi and Jigar.. She stands dignified and will be dignified till the endđ
** Loved how Gopi was there for Koki till the end. I may not like her asking her Maaji to let Urmi come to MM but I guess it was going to happen anyway, one way or the other. This is better in one way then have Koki branded as a 'mean' 'torturing' soul.
