I still feel the same! Taarey ff

Rey packed his stuff and made his way to the front of his house where Sharon and Swayam were going to pick him up. He looked at his phone to check the time but obviously the only thing that struck out was the background picture of Taani and him. He quickly looked away, promising himself he would be happy this whole wedding, at least for Nil and Simmi.

He heard a car honk from outside and he knew it was his cue. He walked outside and put his luggage in the back of Swaron's car. Then, he made his way towards the backseat and got inside. Swayam saw his face and knew he had been thinking about Taani again. As much as he and Sharon wanted to hate his si ster for doing this to their bestfriend, the Rey who once used to be full with positivity and life, they couldn't.

They couldn't because they knew why but they had sworn to her that they wouldn't tell anyone. Sharon looked at him and held his hand. When he looked at her, she nodded re assuring him it was going to be okay. Swayam couldn't keep it in anymore and quickly blurted out. "Rey, We have to tell you something."

"Ha, Bole na" Rey replied. Sharon looked at Swayam with her eyes wide open, hoping he would stop. Swayam saw Sharon's expression and squeezed her hand.

Rey saw Sharon's expression and jumped up from his seat. "Oh My God, no way."

Swayam and Sharon shot him a confused look "Kya?"

"Sharon tune mujhe btaya nahi. Mai to tum logo ka best friend ho na? Anyways forget it, larka hai ya larki? Uskaliye nam socha hai. Agar larka uha to uska name Reyaansh rakha, bilkul apne mere jaise. Aur agar larki to Taa.." Rey immeditaly stopped when he realised what he was about to say. He shook his head and started talking again before anyone could interrupt. "Actually, agar larki hui to kuch be rakh layna but larka to Reyaansh, Reyaansh Shekhawat. "

"Are Are, Rey aisi koi bat nahi hai." Sharon said while trying to cover the blush that had painted its way on her cheeks with her hair.

"Oh" Rey said while sulking back in his seat. "To kya hai?" Swayam cleared his throat and began

"Uhm, ok dekh rey, kabhi kabhi hamara past wapus aajata hai aur hume use accept karna chaiye" Swayam replied nervously

Rey knitted his brows together in confusion. "Tu kahna kya chata hai?" Rey widened his eyes "Wait, Do you mean Kriya is coming back?"

Instantly, Swayam stopped the car at the side and got out. He opened Rey's door, dragged him out by his collar and started yelling. 'KRIYA? TUJHE KRIYA YAAD ARAHI HAI? OH WOW PERFECT. MERE BEHIN TUJSE ITNA PYAAR KARTE HAI OR TUJHE KRIYA YAAD ARAHI HAI. NO YOU KNOW WHAT, TU AB NIL KE GHAR TAK WALK KARKE JAYAH GA. OKAY?"

Sharon rushed out of the car beside Swayam, rubbing his back in an attempt to calm him down. At first, Rey got even more confused than he was before but slowly he put the pieces together.

"WHAT? TAANI WAPAS ARAHI HAI? SACHI?" Rey shone off a million dollar smile while tears swelled up in his eyes. Sharon looked up at her best friend, and instantly smiled. 5 years, it had been 5 years since she had seen that smile. His real smile.

Swayam looked up at Rey, obviously still angry for what he had said. "OH YES, AB TO TUJHE TAANI YAAD HI AIGE. MERE BEHIN NE TUJSE KITNA PYAAR KIYA, YAH TAK TERE LIYA USNE TUJKO'" Swayam caught up to what he was saying and instantly shut his mouth.

"Mere liya kya?" Rey asked yet once again confused.

"Nothing, all I know is ki tu mere behin sacha pyaar nahi karta. Abhi bhi tu Kriya sai pyaar karta kyunki agar tu Taani se sachi mai pyaar karta to jab manai past kaha ta, tujhe Taani yaad ati." Swayam said turning his head in the other direction

Rey widened his eyes, realizing what Swayam had meant. "NO NO Swayam, tu mere bat ka galat matlab nikal raha hai. Tu ne to past kaha tha na, aur Kriya mera past hai. Mai apne present ko past se kyun yaad karonga."

Swayam turned to Rey and a smile made its way up to his lips. "Ok asai, ok then good. Chalo."

Sharon turned to Swayam shocked and pinched his ear. "Ouch Ouch, Sharon tum yeh kya karahi ho."

"Sorry to bolo Rey ko" Sharon replied sternly.

"Mai kyun Sorry bolo, use zyada clear hona chahi ta. Mere galti nahi hai." Hearing this Sharon pinched Swayam's ear harder.

"Ahh baba teek hai. Sorry Rey, Sorry." Swayam said in a high pitched voice.

Rey smiled a little, looking at his friends. Suddenly, his smile disappeared and some words ran through his mind. At first he couldn't hear them, but slowly they got louder and louder

"Kyunki, kyunki I don't love you." Taani's word pierced his heart, and he felt tears coming out of his eyes. Slowly he fell to the ground and put his head in his hand.

Swaron looked at their best friends and the smiled on their faces were instantly wiped off. "Swayam, tum mujhe or Rey ko do minute de sekte ho. Please?"

Swayam knew this was no time to argue so he nodded and walked back towards the car.

"Rey, what's wrong. I thought you would be happy. Taani, tumara pyaar wapis araha hai." Sharon said concerned.

Rey looked up and screamed in frustration. "MERA PYAAR, BAS MERA PYAAR. MAI USKA PYAAR NAHI HO. SHE HAS MOVED ON. SHE TOLD ME THAT DAY THAT SHE DOESN'T ACTUALLY LOVE ME. IT WAS JUST A MISUNDERSTANDING. HOW CAN I BE HAPPY SHARON? I HATE HER SHARON, I HATE HER FOR EVEYTHING SHE'S DONE TO ME. THE PAIN, THE TEARS, THE SLEEPLESS NIGHTS, EVERYTHING SHE GAVE ME. HOW COULD SHE JUST LEAVE ME? I HATE HER, I HATE HER, I HATE HER SO MUCH." Rey's voice slowly got quieter and quieter until it reduced to nothing but a whisper. "I hate her Sharon, I hate her, I love her. I still love her." And as if that was all the pain Rey could take he looked up at the sky and shouted. "TAAANI!"😭😔

Sharon ran to her best friend and pulled him into a hug, slowly rubbing his back and saying soothing words to him like "It's alright" and "Don't Worry"

Swayam had witnessed everything from behind the car. A tear ran down Swayam's face but he quickly wiped it away.

"Hey, Krishnaji, Rey ne to abhi se hi har man li. Pata nahi kya hoga jab vo Nil kay ghar punchai ga aur wape Taani aur Arush ko dekhe ga. Hey Krishnaji, please jaldi say sabkuch thik kardo. Please please please krishnaji." Swayam suddenly stopped. "Oh god, Mai to bilkul Taani ki tarah sound karaha ho. No Swayam, tu ek larka hai, larki nahi so stop, control."

After a while, Sharon and Rey made their way back to the car. Rey got in the backseat and Sharon went to the front. Finally, they took off to a journey, a journey that when they got to the destination it would change their lives forever. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Rey protectively wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer than humanly closer. He put his head in the crook of her neck and placed soft kisses there. He felt in heaven. He had missed her petite body that plastered perfectly into his as if God had made them for each other. They slowly pulled away from each other. Rey looked at Taani and saw tears streaming down her face. He took her face into his hands and wiped them away. "I love you Taani, please don't cry."

"I love too Rey, I love you too" said Taani before she pressed her lips against his.
