"Rey, Rey Get up, hum pohunch gai." Rey covered his ears with his hands after hearing a voice.

"Leave me alone Taani. Mai to tumaharai hi to sapne dekh raha tha. Please let me sleep." Rey said.

Suddenly Rey felt a push and when he opened his eyes he was on the floor of the car. "HUH WHAT?" Rey shouted alerted. He looked around and realized his surroundings.

"oh Swayam, tu? Punch gai hum?" Rey replied lazily.

"ha, punch gai or ab uth ja." Swayam said in a fatherly tone. Rey shook his face.

"BHAAAI" Rey jumped up at the sound of that voice. Oh that beautiful voice, that sweet voice that he had wanted to hear for so long. Rey moved out of the car and looked at the angel infront on him. She looked so beautiful, so perfect. Nothing about her had changed. Her hair was still waist long, her lips were still full and her eyes still held innocence yet a bit of mischief. Rey smiled at the perfection infront of him. Without realizing, Rey started walking towards her until he was face to face with her. "Taani" he whispered quietly.

Taani looked up at him. She saw his eyes, his nose, his lips, his hair. Even as the years had gone by, he looked just handsome as he had in college. And before she knew it, she flung herself into his arms, losing all control on her body. She hid her face in his chest, breathing in his scent. The smell she had felt so lonely without.

Rey protectively wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer than humanly closer. He put his head in the crook of her neck and placed soft kisses there. He felt in heaven. He had missed her petite body that plastered perfectly into his as if God had made them for each other. They slowly pulled away from each other. Rey looked at Taani and saw tears streaming down her face. He took her face into his hands and wiped them away. "I love you Taani, please don't cry."

"I love too Rey, I love you too" said Taani before she pressed her lips against his.

"Rey, Rey, REEEY, REEEY" Rey shuddered and looked around him. Rey looked up in confusion when he found his arms empty. He looked up and saw his angel hugging Swayam. He looked to his side and saw Sharon standing there with her hand on his shoulder, and an expression that conveyed that she was scared. Rey shook his head signaling her that it was okay. Sharon nodded her head and started walking towards Taani.

"Taani" Sharon said happily. "BHABI" Taani yelled with a loud voice before pulling Sharon into a hug. Taani looked up and what she saw made her freeze in her spot. She saw him standing just a few paces away. She made eye contact with him and the butterflies she had been holding in for so long burst in her stomach. No wait scratch that, it was more of gorillas. She felt her heart quicken pace. She pried her eyes away from Rey and looked at her brother. Swayam shrugged and smiled at her as innocently as possible.

Taani was damn sure she would have jumped on Rey that moment if she hadn't heard a voice coming from the side. The only voice that held a special place in her heart besides Reys' and Swayams' of course.

Sharon and Swayam panicked at hearing the voice but Rey was too far too to hear it.

"Mama Mama help please." Taani looked to her right and shouted back. "Ariyou (Coming)"

"Nahi Abi please mama, please" the voice argued back.

Taani smiled and shook her head. "Okay Baba, atiyou" Taani started walking towards the house but stopped when she realized no one was following her.

"Ab ap logo ko mere godh me anahai." Taani said, smiling. Swayam, Rey and Sharon quickly picked up there stuff and started walking towards the house.

"Rey, Swayam, Sharon" various voices shouted from all over the house. It was like a big family reunion. Everyone rushed to hug everyone else. Rey tried his best to quickly hug everyone so he could find his way to Taani.

"Arey Rey, tu kaha ja raha hai? Ider aa na." Vicky shouted. "ha bus ek minute Vicky."

"Rey no, abi ider aa, itni der bad mil raha hai saale aur abhi bhi taani ke pichee mmm" Nilesh said while raising his hand up to do the chemistry sign. Nilesh looked around confused when none of the boys followed him. And then it hit him. I looked up at Rey with an apologetic look which Rey returned with a faint smile.

Rey turned around and started walking towards Taani. Slowly, step by step, he felt his heart quicken pace, his stomach do 180 degree turns and his palm become sweaty.

"Taani" he whispered quietly. Taani turned around and found herself staring into two warm hazel eyes. Taani and Rey stood there for 5 minutes just staring at each other just like old times before they were disturbed by a voice.

"Mama, kaha kho gayai aap?" Taani looked behind her, fear evident in her eyes. Rey looked behind Taani and smiled at the innocent boy who had mistaken Taani as his mom.

Rey was about to tell him that Taani wasn't his mom when Taani cut him off. "kuch nahi arush, bad uncle sai mil rehe thi."

Rey felt his whole world come crashing down for the second time. The pieces of his heart that he had just put together break all over again. He felt his world stop and all he could see was Taani and that little boy standing behind her holding her pallu.

His last thought before he felt numb "Taani has a son" 😲 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
