So what is Mahen's role in all this?

I remember reading somewhere that Mahen might be the one who told Shashank to disappear right at the time of the wedding.. Mahen's interested in Gauri's property (supposedly she has land in her name..Also people predicting that Mahen's rival is actually her grandmother? I don't know.. Could be mere speculation..) and that is the reason Mahen wanted Gauri to become her daughter-in-law..

Remember.. Shashank had a letter that he wanted to pass to Gauri.. Perhaps I miss it somewhere but did they ever show who was the person burning that letter? Could be Mahen... After all, appearances are often deceptive..

Maybe because salil left kaa for big boss tht they had to change mahen's track for a while and will get back to shashank's letter later when mahen comes back from whereevr he has gone

Coming back to the rest of the views: Let's see what Ekta has in store for us. I would hate this show to become another one of her victims and get ruined by side tracks and idiotic concepts that end up frustrating the viewers more. Just becase you need to have a soap being stretched over years and years doesnt mean its integrity and original concept needs to be compromised. I've often found that the original concept always stays pure and a gem in itself. It's the side stories and weird tracks that kill a show's popularity after a while. I hope for Pallavi's sake (wish I could have typed Iqbal along with it... ) that this isn't the case.
