What a wholesome episode! Hats off to the creatives for giving everyone screen space and also move the story ahead.
The scene between Razia and Badi B defined the tone for the episode- slippery stairs, or rather slippery slopes as I would summarize it. The slippery slopes can be seen in both a positive and negative way but affected a number of relationships today.
#1. Razia- Badi B: They are the comic relievers these days. Just loved their banter and tu-tu-main-main. The slippery stairs scene was classic and the dialogues very suggestive- itni jaldi kya hai oopar jaane ki Razia. The way Badi B stepped on her foot and burdened her with the gifts was also well executed. It reminded me of the way criminals were paraded with their faces painted black and trotted around on a donkey.
# Tanveer- Razia: By challenging Razia, Tanveer has entered a slippery slope. She is going to slip really hard and crack her face with this one. Razia can't be defeated by small fish like Tanveer. Also, my theory of 'bazaroo' aurat seems to be coming right. Dee and I had hypothesized that Billo rani would have some seedy connections with the brothel. Wonder if that's coming true now. The question is whether Raazia has a similar past too?
#3: Imran-Tanveer-Nikhat: Billo rani's dual eye color had always been a clue that she is part evil but part not so evil. I felt bad for Tanveer today for what Imran has done with her. Unfortunately, Nikhat is entering a slippery slope here. Her alliance with Imran and Haseena bi's family is bound to bring a lot of pain and struggles for her.
#4: Asad-Zoya: my favorite couple are standing on a slippery slope called ishq or love. If the peak of the slope is resistance to love, then they both are slipping badly. Asad and Zoya were too cute today. i loved the way the PH handled the dance. It was very innocent and very much in character for Zoya. I am so glad Asad didn't misunderstand her. In fact, indirectly acknowledged that he remembers the night. Zoya's victory dance after his dimpled smile statement was adorable. How can anyone resist this cutie pie? I am glad the earring made a special appearance too and I am happy that Asad still has it.
# 5 Ayaan-Humeira: By hiding the truth from Humeira, Ayaan is entering a slippery slope of misunderstandings, betrayal and unhappiness.
Symbolisms:
1. Tanveer's one evil eye in Haseena Bi's living room. She is going to cast an evil eye on Haseena's family and also take revenge from Razia.
2. Earring with Asad: The earring is a metaphor for Zoya's heart. He will never be able to return it.
3. Reference to kotha and bazaroo aurat: Tanveer and possibly Razia have connections to this unsharif world.
