Shahrukh Khan back on TV!!!

No no, King Khan hasn't been signed for any melodramatic soap nor is he taking part in some reality show. The good news is for all those viewers who had missed or want to re-experinece the opportunity to watch the juvenile Shahrukh in his first ever TV show, Fauji.

This time around, Sahara One will be bringing alive this popular series that gave Shahrukh's career a shot in the arm.

Fauji (1988) was enormously popular TV series about the daily life of an Indian Army regiment. The character played by Shahrukh Khan (Abhimanyu Rai) gained instant popularity due to its charm, peppiness and the exuberance with which Khan essayed the role. The success paved way for Shahrukh's next series (Circus) and his foray into filmdom.

Starting today, Fauji will be telecasted Monday to Thursday at 10 pm on Sahara One.
