Hi people! I have posted a lil teaser of the next chapter if you guys are interested. It's on page 119. I was suppose to finish the chapter today, but I'm out of town atm. I'll update on Tuesday for sure though! Cheers!!! :)
Greetings all! A big thank you to each and every one of you who left your awesome feedback. You guys always encourage me to keep writing. The present track and the current situation in the forum have kind of frozen my brain. So please excuse me! I'm having a writer's block. Certain things have left me so disappointed. You guys might find the first half of the story a bit dragging, but don't skip as it wouldn't help you solve the puzzle.
Chapter 14
Disclaimer : Be warned! Lemon ahead! Not a major one! Just something small!
Trishna Mallik was surprised seeing that familiar face. Her eyes showed loathsome anger. The guy in front of her looked smug.
"What a kind surprise seeing you here Trishna." The guy expressed.
"What an unpleasant surprise seeing your cowardly face, Mukund Dixit!" Trishna replied in a disgusted tone. "What do you want?"
"What a rude way to greet your sister's good old friend or should I be bold enough to say ex-fiance?"
"Seriously? Since when did you grow a backbone?" Trishna rolled her eyes.
"Look I'm not here to fight with you Trishna." Mukund said impatiently. "I need to talk to Madhu."
Trishna glared at him. "What is left for you to talk, Mukund?"
"Tell her I found everything. All of you were lying, including my mother. I know, so how can I blame you all for the lie you did? What my own mother did was a lie."
"What the hell are you talking about? What kind of lie did we do? If this is about RK's interview, I've had enough of that bullsh*t." Trishna said frustrated.
"I'm talking about the close relationship you and RK's family had. So this is something you all did together? I just want to know if Madhu took part in this big lie herself."
"WTH! What close relationship? Dude, I had enough for a day! I don't want more BS. So please I'm leaving and please stay away from my sister." Trishna gave one last glare and left the place.
*****
Trishna Mallik was angry and annoyed. This was not how she expected for her day to end. Her thoughts of what occurred a while ago were broken when the vehicle reached the Mallik mansion. She rushed to her mother as soon as she got out.
Padmini was in her room and she was surprised to see Trishna earlier than expected. She was even more surprised how she rushed to her side and hugged her.
"Trishna, is everything ok?" She asked panicked.
"Ma. I'm sick of this."
"Trishna." Padmini pulled out of the embrace and touched her daughter's face. "What happened?"
Trishna told her everything including the liaison with Mukund. Padmini's eyes narrowed wistfully. She was looking into the distance remembering certain things which were forgotten. Certain things Trishna or Madhu would not remember. She swallowed absent-mindedly.
"Ma? What are you thinking?"
"Nothing." Padmini compressed her lips.
"Ma, are you trying to hide something?"
Padmini sighed. "It was twenty years back..." Padmini started, and Trishna was all ears.

Madhu and Nishtha were left in the lodge. Daisa was nowhere in sight for any disturbance either. Therefore, Madhu considered this the perfect opportunity to find more about RK's past.
"Nish, would you mind me asking something?"
"Sure. Madhu. Shoot!" Nishtha said while buffing her nails.
"Remember you were saying that RK only loved one girl. Was she Tanya?" Madhu asked uncertainly.
"Oh. Did RK tell you about her?" Nishtha asked surprised.
"Yes, but he couldn't tell me completely. He was hurt."
"Oh. I-" Nishtha looked hesitant. "Madhu, I don't know if I'm the one who should be telling you this. Don't you think it'll be better if you hear from RK himself? RK doesn't like talking about it and there's a good reason for that. Even, I heard it from Anu, but I think it's not my place to tell you about this. I'm sorry Madhu." Nishtha said uncomfortable. 'I'm sorry Madhu. I promised Anu I wouldn't tell you anything about RK's past, especially about Tanya. It's his place to tell you.'
"It's okay, Nishtha." Madhu forced a smile.
*****
Nishtha left for shooting soon after lunch. Madhu was bored and decided take a stroll in the garden. Outside it was very cold, but it helped to cool down her distressed self. She was relaxing in the garden bench when she got a call from Trishna.
"Didu? Is everything okay?" Madhu asked surprised by this call at an odd hour.
"Madhu, are you busy? Can you talk now?"
"Yes. Yes tell me." Madhu said guilty as she had not been busy as she informed her family.
"Madhu, it has been so many days since you left. Ma has been restless and even Mallik has been asking for you.
'Mallik' that name brought a pang within her. "H-how is Mallik? Is- is everything okay with him? Last time ma called he was doing fine." Madhu stumbled.
"He's fine, Madhu. He's doing a lot better now. It's not Mallik- I'm more worried about you. Is there something you are hiding?"
Madhu's heart started beating so fast. "Didu! Why are you thinking like that? Why would I hide anything?"
"Oh- just! Because you just disappeared and you are giving us vague answers about your whereabouts. Anyway how's the project Ramona assigned you getting along?"
Madhu's heart missed a beat. "Oh- that! It's all good."
"Are you sure?" Trishna asked quizzically. "Are you still even involved in that project?"
"What?" Madhu panicked. 'Did she find out something?' "Didu, why all these questions?"
"Madhu, STOP LYING! Because I hear things." Trishna said sternly. "You know Apurva? Maybe you don't know cuz she joined your company very recently. She's a sister of one of my friends and according to her there's no director named Madhubala Mallik working there anymore. I just got to know this yesterday night. Someone else has been assigned the Lancome project."
Madhu gulped and she was speechless. "I- Didu-" She started crying.
"Oh my God! Madhu? What happened? What have you been hiding?" Trishna asked panicked. "So what I heard is true?
"Didu- promise you won't tell Ma?" Madhu sobbed.
"I- But- tell me what's wrong and where are you?" Trishna asked worried. "Shall I come to Silvassa right now? I'll tell Ma something."
"Didu- I'm not in Silvassa anymore." Madhu answered flustered.
"Then?" Trishna questioned surprised.
"I- I'm in Shimla."
"WHAT? Oh God Madhu! What have you done? Why all these lies?" Trishna asked scared and angry at the same time.
Madhu started narrating what happened since she was kidnapped. She was feeling giddy as there was no reaction from Trishna's end.
After what seemed like an eternity, Trishna started talking. "Madhu, how can you be so naive?" She sounded distressed. "How can you believe all that without any proof? You know RK! You know how he deceived us!"
"But- Bhatia-"
"Madhu, RK hates Bhatia! So he can be dragging Bhatia for his own advantage!"
"NO!"
"How can you be sure, Madhu?"
"How can you say like that, Didu?"
"Oh God, Madhu! How can you trust him so blindly? Anyway it's too late! If ma knows-"
"Please, Didu! Don't tell Ma!" Madhu pleaded.
"How can I not, Madhu? This is your entire fault. You could have at least called me before you took this decision." Trishna shook her head in frustration. "This is all Ma's fault too for keeping you away from the rest of the world." Trishna ranted.
Madhu was feeling terrible, but telling Trishna the truth made her feel relieved as it was a load of weight off her mind.
"So Madhu, when are you coming back home?" Trishna asked after a long silence. "Are you even coming home?"
"Didu, I asked him. He said he'll bring me once his shooting is over."
Trishna sighed and after another long silence she asked. "Madhu, did he-?"
Madhu knew what she was referring to, but she didn't know how to answer. "I'm his legal wife Didu."
Trishna gasped. "So he did-? Oh God, Madhu. What have you done? Didn't you hate him? How could you let him do that? What are you going to tell Ma? She would be furious. How can we save you from this mess now?"
"Didu- there's no way out now." Madhu said her voice breaking, tears rolling down her cheeks again. "I miss you, I miss everyone at home.
"Oh, Madhu. We miss you too. Madhu, but why in the world did you allow him to touch you?"
"It just- I don't know. It just happened." Madhu was angry with herself as she didn't know how it happened herself. 'Is she attracted to him? NO!' She quickly discarded the thought.
Trishna sighed. "Did he demand you in anyway?"
"No, he didn't force me, but with other things he's too controlling. I can't do anything without his permission. He says it's for my own good, but it's too suffocating sometimes."
Trishna compressed her lips hearing this information. "You had no problem standing out against him before-"
"-but Didu. This time it's different. That's the whole reason I was scared to do anything in Silvassa. I thought he'd harm me."
"Wouldn't he harm now?" Trishna asked worried.
"I doubt, but- I don't know Didu. Until I get away from Shimla, I'm scared to go against him. I don't have anyone of my own here." Madhu said distressed. "It'd hard to understand him. Sometimes I feel he actually cares about me, but sometimes it's like he's using me. As if I'm just a toy to him." Madhu added the last part in a heart wrenching tone.
Hearing Madhu's last words broke Trishna's heart and her eyes welled up in tears. "Be strong Madhu. You've always been strong." Trishna said her voice cracking in helplessness for her sister's fate.
Madhu who was still in the garden suddenly heard a vehicle coming towards the property and recognised it was RK's vehicle. Madhu was not expecting him till late evening and was quite surprised.
"Didu, RK's here. I'll call you later. Bye." She quickly hung the phone and wiped her tear strained face. She went towards the vehicle and gave him a vain smile.
"What's wrong?" RK demanded seeing her unsuccessful expression.
"Nothing." Madhu said trying her best to look alright.
RK frowned. "Have you been crying?"
Madhu was taken aback by this question. Madhu took time to reply and she finally answered, "I've been thinking, RK. I miss my family and I don't know how to explain things to them."
"Don't think about what to tell your family just yet. Relax biwi." He said taking his things out from the vehicle. Madhu took his lunch box from him.
Both husband and wife slowly walked towards the lodge, lost in their own thoughts. RK put his free hand around Madhu, bringing her closer to him. Madhu looked at his face taken by this unexpected action. He looked solemn. An onlooker would have admired the beautiful couple thinking how they complimented each other. Only the couple themselves knew the complicated situation they were in; to the outside world they just looked perfect.
*****
RK was having a shower, and Madhu occupied herself with the work RK left the day before, which she could not finish yet. The door opened and a freshly showered Rishabh Kundra came out of the bathroom. 'As always he smells so sexy,' Madhu thought to herself. She cursed herself for her thoughts. 'What the hell is she thinking?' She was angry with herself. She just realised she had been going through the same data again and again. 'Madhu! Concentrate!' She scolded herself in her mind. Yet, again she couldn't help wonder what he was up to. The antique mirror quite near to Madhu's table gave a good view of RK who was in front of the dressing table. Madhu couldn't help, but steal a glance. He had a towel snugly wrapped around his lower torso and another draped on his neck. RK was in his own world dabbing himself with aftershave. Madhu could not help, but admire how his muscles flexed whenever he moved. 'He truly is a Greek God.' Madhu had to agree.
"Enjoying what you see?" RK smirked, catching Madhu examining him.
Madhu jumped from her thoughts. A blush crept down her neck. She composed herself quickly with a glare. "I was wondering what kind of poison you use coz it stinks!"
"Oh, really?" RK quirked a brow. "This is the first time I'm hearing a girl complaining about my perfume. It's Acqua Di Gio, Armani." He said matter-of-factly.
Madhu scrunched her nose cutely. "It still stinks." Madhu said enjoying RK's annoyed expression.
"Girls go crazy when I just even pass by." RK boasted, ignoring her last comment.
'That's no news and I doubt it's anything to do with the perfume.' Madhu thought rolling her eyes.
"Oh, well. There's a first time for everything. I sure don't like that scent." Madhu lied.
"I can't help it then, sweetheart. I sure won't change my trademark scent." He threw the towel which was draped on his shoulder and grabbing his favourite perfume, started spraying it on his bare upper body like in a perfume advertisement.
Madhu blinked her mouth slightly agape. "Okay. You are not getting paid for that advertisement on Acqua Di Gio. " Madhu said rolling her eyes.
"This is a free advertisement for your viewing pleasure only, biwi." RK winked, grinning crookedly, secretly enjoying the expression on Madhu's face.
'Oh my God! His crooked grin. Damn it! I'm turning into a fan girl!' She frowned, trying to hide the blush on her face. She muttered a little "Whatever!" under her breath and diverted her attention back to the data sheet, this time concentrating harder.
RK knew she was attracted to him. There was no question about it. Yet he knew she was in denial. He was worried the revelation about Tanya would have distanced her from him. He was in fact surprised she didn't dare question further about it; not that he wished to discuss his past. He took his time dressing, while she busied herself with the work.
After what seems like thirty minutes passed, she was almost done with the work when she felt his presence very close behind her. She turned her head only to find his face inches away from hers. He was bent, peeping over her shoulder scanning the document.
"So you are almost done?" He asked his eyes still on the paper.
"Yes." She replied proudly.
"Thank you!" He pecked her cheek. "That saved me some sleepless nights."
Madhu smiled at him warmly, her eyes bright. "Welcome!"
He tapped her nose playfully and grabbed his script file from the table and flopped on the bed. It was past three in the evening. She hated this odd hour. She completed the assignment and turned back, only to find RK staring at her propped in a relaxed position. Her eyes scanned his questioningly. "What?"
He didn't seem worried that she caught him off-guard. "Nothing." He replied calmly and started reading his script.
She frowned at him and got up to leave.
*****
Madhu was in the TV lobby supposedly watching some movie, but her mind was elsewhere. She was peeved with RK. She found it so unfair how certain things worked with him. Whenever she used the word 'nothing', she had to give a whole description of what she actually meant by that. If it was RK who used the word, it simply meant 'nothing'.
'You just wait Rishabh Kundra. You just wait till I get out of Shimla.' Madhu thought determined.
She went back to their room around five o'clock, taking RK's evening tea. When she entered the room, she was presented with the unexpected sight of her husband fallen in to a peaceful slumber. The sight before, made her heart skip a beat. She placed his tea on the bedside table and sat at the edge of the bed. He looked so harmless in his vulnerable state. He had fallen asleep lying on his stomach, one cheek pressed against the pillow. His breathing was deep and steady and his body completely at peace, muscles relaxed. His face looked serene, stray hair partly covering his closed eyes. Madhu reached her hand, but stop midway. 'They say never wake a sleeping lion.' Madhu sighed and withdrew her hand, but her eyes never left him.
'Boy was she blessed with a handsome husband?' Madhu thought holding back her breath. 'A husband, who does not love her,' she sighed reminding herself. Yet, how can someone so cruel, look so good looking? She questioned herself. 'His unearthly looks are just a trap, Madhu. Don't fall for them.' Madhu warned herself.
Lost in her thoughts, her hand extended to brush away the irritating hair which hid his eyes from her view. He did not wake up or jerk. This made her daring enough for her next move. Her soft fingers caressed his chiselled jawline and travelled over his face ever so softly. Her breathing became erratic and her pulse raced with each bold trace she made. Her actions didn't disturb his peaceful slumber. This encouraged her further. She bit on her luscious lower lip uncertain whether it was wise to continue her bold act and what she intended to do next. 'Why not take a risk? After all, it's my right! If he can have a right over me, why can't I?' She thought firmly. With that strong determination, her face inched towards his. Her face stopped, inches away from his. One wrong move would brush her lips against his. The mere thought sent her heart beat drumming to a tribal rhythm, taunting her thoughts.
RK was still in his deep slumber, when he felt soft, warm breath on his face. He opened his eyes startled. The sight that met him was not what he expected in a million years. His wife was bent over him, her moist lips inches away from his. Has he woken into another dream? That was what he thought, the second he opened his eyes. Things became much clearer the next second by her reaction.
Madhubala was a little inch away from the victorious point, when RK's eyes snapped opened. She gasped and pulled back abruptly, her heart thumping madly. She was surprised she didn't fall off the bed. Her face turned such a bright red, she made tomatoes look pale.
RK, who realised what occurred here, grabbed her hand before she could run away from him. Madhu pulled her hand with all her might and got away from him without even turning back to give him one last glance. She hurried towards the closest escape route when she was stopped rudely and pulled and banged on a hard wall which was Rishabh Kundra's chest. She quickly placed a hand on his chest trying to pull from his grip. Madhu, who was still embarrassed, looked at him powerlessly. She didn't know what to say.
"I- I- I was-"
"Shhh! I don't want to hear anything!" RK stated sharply, which scared Madhu.
'Has she disappointed him? But it's not fair! If he could-' Her thoughts were interrupted by his next move.
He looked at her big scared brown eyes and cupped her cheek with his hand reassuring her it was alright. His intense gaze was blazed her body. The fire in his eyes scared her for some reason, but she held herself strong. She needed to stop him from whatever he was about to do. While he was lost in her she quickly pulled out from his grip backing off. He was taken by surprise by this move and kept moving forward, as she kept moving back. She stopped immediately when her back hit on the door and her hand instantly reached for the doorknob. Alas, RK was quicker! He pinned her to the door and held both her hands above her head. He quickly locked the door while she was trapped between him and the door.
"RK, release my hands! Please?" She demanded.
He released her hands slowly, her body still held confined. His fiery gaze never left her.
"Why, RK? Please let me go?"
"I thought this was what you wanted a while back." Rishabh Kundra smirked triumphantly.
Madhu looked at him mortified. "I-NO! I was about to wake you up. I brought your tea."
"Hah! What a nice way to wake me up." RK shook his head. "You are getting creative, biwi! I like it!" He winked at her.
She glared. "I honestly don't know what you're talking about." She tried to defend herself.
"Oh? Really? You know biwi? Now I wonder if you are actually innocent as you seem." He traced her face with his index finger and placing it under her chin.
Madhu frowned. "Think whatever you want. I don't care."
"Uh huh? Fine, then allow me to finish what you started." He lifted her face with his index finger his face inching towards her. Her heart skipped a beat.
Rishabh Kundra attacked his biwi's full moist lips. He loved how her strawberry chap-stick tasted on her plump lips. He started suckling and biting her lower lips as if he had been missing doing that for a long while. Madhu hesitated at first, but could not keep her do-not-care facade for much long. She moaned softly clutching on to his chest, kissing him back. He roughly pushed her against the locked-door again, using his hips to pin her while never breaking their lip-lock. She felt tingles run down her spine as she felt his arousal pressed against her belly. 'Oh God!' Madhu thought to herself. 'I just wanted a little kiss, and it ended up like this?'
Rishabh Kundra coaxed open her mouth, his tongue expertly exploring her. Her tongue tentatively stroked his, joining his in an erotic dance. After what seemed like five minutes, both of them pulled back gasping for breath.
"You taste so sweet." He murmured burying his face on her neck. Her eyes closed immediately feeling his hot breath trailing goosebumps on her skin. He released her hair from her braid, letting his fingers through her cascading silky tresses.
"I want you, Madhubala." He whispered huskily. Her mind screamed 'NO!' but her body was not adhering.

I cut out the last part so everybody would not feel strange for leaving RK/Madhu in an awkward stance. I highly doubt I would continue this story. If I ever do (which would be a miracle because I have completely lost interest) people in my list would still get notified with a personal message. Thank you for your cooperation.
