Riya ran out of Arjun's office all the while trying to control her tears. What she had thought, and how happy she had been yesterday morning, but today she felt so much sadness and anger towards Arjun. She still didn't believe the way he had dared talk with her. He was nothing but a stereotypical macho man who thought girls were only commodities, and had no principles. She still could hear the words, "you were perfectly willing" running on and on in her head.

Was that what Arjun thought about her? That she was an easy girl! That she wouldn't think twice one day before betraying him. He really thought that her love was superficial and she was a fickle person. All these questions hurt her and her self-esteem a lot. If only Shaina didn't need her help, she would have disappeared from Arjun's life right at that moment itself. She took a deep breath, wiped her tears, did her make-up again to cover her teary eyes and then went to ask further questions to Shaina.

While on the other hand, Arjun was still fuming in his office. He couldn't believe that his Riya had dared throw water on him. After all what was his fault? He didn't think he did anything wrong, he just said the truth to her. He was the one to have stopped both that night. He couldn't help himself from remembering what happened a few nights ago.

That night

Arjun had carried Riya and had laid her gently on the bed. He had bent down to further kiss her again and again. It was as if he was addicted to her, he couldn't have enough and wanted to continue kissing her forever. Without realizing how, both had ended up completely on the bed, and the kisses had changed from gentle to passionate. Both couldn't control their feelings anymore, and soon unless one really had the courage to stop, they would end up going beyond their limits. Arjun stopped kissing Riya for some time to wait for her to push him, but Riya was too far gone to even realise and be able to control her feelings and say no. Taking Riya's silence as a yes, Arjun had lifted Riya slightly, and gently he trailed his fingers on Riya's back till the single dori, all the while looking in her eyes. However just when he was about to open the dori, he had felt Riya's shivering a little too much.

Though Riya hadn't stopped him, nor was in proper control senses of her feelings to stop, that shivering had been enough for him to gain back his control, and one last look at Riya, he knew he had to stop. He knew Riya enough to know that though right now she wasn't stopping him, but next morning she'd feel so guilty at herself. He knew her principles would hurt her a lot, so while he could still stop, he quickly got up from the bed and went out of the room to gather himself. After about one hour, he had returned back to the room, and saw that Riya had already changed herself, and was already asleep on the bed. Though he had stopped himself from going too fast with her, he couldn't bring himself to leave her alone on the bed. So he also changed his clothes, and got in the bed. He took Riya in his arms, and while Riya was underneath the bed covers, he slept on the bed covers. They both had slept very well till Arjun's phone had started to ring.

He quickly pushed out the memories back to his head, went to change in a spare shirt he always brought with him, and went out of the office to investigate Shaina's case. He would deal with Riya and her excessive temper swings once they had solved the case and proven Shaina's innocent. Like agreed, he went directly to the hotel. He went in the room where the body had been found. He looked everywhere for any clues. Though there were traces of blood everywhere, he couldn't find any traces of fights.

"How can it be? If Yashveer knew his life was in danger, he should have at least tried to save him," but he saw nothing broken. "It was almost as if Yashveer had let himself be stabbed," he said to himself.

"Kahin kuch to chut raha hein," he said to himself. He took out his mobile and called Shree, "Have the postmortem results arrived?"

"Yep it just arrived. It seems that Yashveer was drugged before he was killed. Apparently from the analysis of his blood, he had taken a drink which had a drug in it. So though he could feel he was being stabbed, he wasn't really in a position to defend or fight back. And then he was left to die from the excessive blood lost," Shree told him.

"And have you checked his phone records? Who was he in contact lately?" Arjun asked.

"Hmmm Arjun Sir, Riya is presently working on that part. I'll ask her to call you back when she has finished," Shree said not knowing that these two were presently fighting. Shree cut the call and turned towards Riya.

"So Ri, what have you got? Be quick, nahin to woh akdu will scold you," Shree said jokingly. He didn't know why but he could feel that Riya was very depressed and sad inside. So as her best friend, he wanted to make her laugh a little. Unfortunately his jokes had no effect on Riya, since Riya ignored him completely and was concentrating only on her work. After a few minutes she raised her head, and gave Shree what she found out.

"Give the results to Arjun," she said and went away claiming to have something else to do.

"Ab yeh Ri ko kya hoowa hein," Shree asked to himself. He called Arjun and told Arjun that from the call records, the only person to have been in contact with him since he was released was Simran.

"Simran, that we all were sure about after hearing Shaina's part of story. But it's still not enough to prove that Simran killed Yashveer," Arjun said to Shree.

"Continue to dig more about that Shaina and Yashveer, while I'll interrogate that woman who found the body, and the person who claimed to have seen Shaina in that room," Arjun said and cut the call. He was so much concentrated in the case, that he didn't realise that despite it was Riya working on the phone records, in the end Shree had called him and not Riya.

While on the other hand, Riya had decided to avoid Arjun till she could decide what to do, and thus she had asked Shree to convey all the results to Arjun.
