Yikes girl .. why do you want to listen to a sad song after a breakup?
Don't be sad .. now you are single and ready to mingle.. get out there .. GO!
No one deserves your tears.. you are awesome..!
I say call your girlfriends and go shopping.. spend some money! 😉

That said.. listen to Ceelo Green. Listening to him singing Eff you that many times will definitely make you smile, if nothing else! 🤗

Putting the clean version here.. but the original one is what you need to listen 😉 😉

Whatever you do.. do not listen to Tanhayee.. !!! That song can make you cry even if you are not sad.. and Tu hi re ..
Another one to avoid Kyun Main Jagoo from Patiala House.
Then there are the set of "tere bin" songs .. two that come to mind are Atif Aslam's Tere Bin and I hate love stories - Bin Tere

I love Adele.. Someone like you would be apt to the situation.
Oh thought of one other .. Gotye - Somebody that I used to know.

Thanks bored damsel. I did include that Cee Lo Green song (and others along the "f*ck you" vein)!

Breakups are just a part of life, so it's all good. I saw a Koffee with Karan episode in which Kangana Ranaut said "at this age it only takes 15 days to get over a breakup." What a great line. Wish that episode featured more of her and less of the two has-been dudes. Spunky women get no love in bollywood.

I have posted many songs however the topic is about best breakup song. I love all songs I posted however this can become a never ending topic if we keep posting songs and songs. Oher thing is that, though not easy, but we need to move away from breakup and listen to happy songs (my first post). It is one of those things more the worst and not merrier.

I will conclude by saying that best break up song is tere-bin. The reason is that it does not have a sad theme. It is positive. It is about realizing the importance of other person. So yes this is my nominee.

Yeah, we can keep posting songs till the cows come home, but for me the best one is this:

Reasons for nomination:

- It's sad, a very beautiful quality of sad
- 1960s bollywood Urdu (automatic poetry points)
- Mohammed Rafi

Sad isn't a bad thing. Sometimes we experience sadness in a detached sort of way, and we even romanticize it and enjoy that feeling. It doesn't mean you dwell on it or feel badly about yourself or value your life any less, so you don't need "happy" tunes to get you to snap out of it. The only problem is if you're "blue" to the point where you can't experience anything else.

A lot of cultural production over the course of human history has focused on the experience of sadness and the emotions associated with it. It's romantic in its own way.
