Part 8

"OK, What?" Riya said frustrated. "You lied Riya," Shree said simply, "Tune mujhse jhoot bola! You still love him, don't you?" "Nahi Shree, aisi koi baat nahi hai. I don't love him," Riya said. "Riya! Listen to yourself. Aisa lag raha hai k tu mujhse zyada apne aap ko convince karne ki koshish kar rahi hai! Sach bol Riya.. Mujhse kyun chupa rahi hai," Shree scolded her. Riya knew that she had been caught. "OK fine! Haan! Haan main abhi bhi onse pyaar karti hoon. Nahi dekha jata jab onhe kuch hota hai! Jaan nikalti hai meri," Riya said. "To ye Aditya," Shree questioned. "Mujhe Adi pasand tha. Bahut pasand tha. In fact mujhe laga tha k mujhe osse pyaar hone laga hai aur Arjun sir se shayad main door ho gayi hoon. Aur jab osne mujhpe cheat kiya, to main hurt huyi thi. Mujhe dukh hua tha! Lekin jab Arjun Sir ko goli lagi to mujhe onke ilawa kuch nahi dikha. Ek pal ke liye to meri duniya, meri saansein, meri dharkan, sab kuch jaise ruk gaya. Aur ab mujhe pata hai kyun. Because I never fell out of love with him! Adi was just a distraction! Shree, I still love Arjun Sir… Ab main kya karoon?" Riya was in tears and her voice broke. She covered her face with her hands. Shree kept reassuring hand on her shoulder and she slumped forward to rest her head on Shree's shoulder. Shree hugged his best friend and tried to calm her down. Sometime later, she calmed down. When Shree felt that she was OK, he told her that he's going to call the doctor.

The doctor came and checked her. He gave them a clean chit. She got up from the hospital bed and went outside to join the rest of the team. Sameer gave her a countdown of all things that happened while she was unconscious. She was relieved to know that Arjun was well and recovering. She was at peace.

While Riya was at peace, Shree was far from peaceful. He replayed the conversation he had with Riya a few minutes ago. "Hey Bhagwaan," he thought, " Ye masla to zyada oljha hua hai! Riya onse sach mein bahut pyaar karti hai. Magar vo akdu! Vo kabhi Riya se pyaar nahi kar sakta. Magar ab to Sikandar bhi maara ja chuka hai. Kya ab vo apni life main move on karenge? After all, main is baat ko ignore nahi kar sakta k vo Riya k kafi close aa gaye hain. Pata nahi Riya ki zindagi main aur kitna sehna likha hai. Ya shayad nahi! Akdu k behaviour main kafi badlaav aaya hai. Especially Ri ko lekar. Lekin kuch bhi conclusion pe pahunchne se pehle, mujhe Arjun sir ko closely dekhna padega. Meri best-friend ki ZINDAGI ka sawaal hai."

Whilst Shree was lost in his thoughts, the doctor came to the ETF and told them that Arjun was gaining consciousness. All of them went towards Arjun's room to see him. They all went inside and saw that he was up. He was leaning against the reclined bed and looking at all of them. Shree and Chotu went inside and asked him how he was feeling. He replied by saying that he was fine. But neither Riya nor Sameer approached him. Riya didn't even look at him after entering the room. She looked everywhere except at him. This surprised everyone except Shree and it even hurt Arjun a little. The hurt was visible in Arjun's eyes and he continued to look at Riya to catch any sign of the reason for her indifference. Shree turned to Arjun to ask him something when he stopped. He could clearly see Arjun's hurt at getting no reaction from Riya. For a minute, he wasn't able to think anything. The only thought running in his mind was, "He's looks hurt. Does he love Riya? No, he is just hurt at getting no reaction. But he's HURT! Does he atleast care about Riya? Can there be anything between them? OH MY GOD! Please let it be true!"

All this while, Sameer Rathod was glaring at his once-best-friend. But Arjun failed to notice this. He was too lost in Riya. But she refused to look at him. Sameer followed his gaze and on ended on Riya. "Well, that's good!" he thought. Even he noticed that Riya didn't look at Arjun. For the first time, Sameer felt that he would get his Juno back soon. And he was ready to do anything for that.

Wow cool update... Riya still loves Arjun nd Shree s worried for his friend... Arjun s hurt tht Riya s nt evn looking at him... hmmm there s some improvemnt... Rathore too understood that... hope he takes some steps to bring these two closer... update soon...
