I was among those who found Kumud similar to Nandini-Paro. It is not Jenny's fault. It's with the makers. Though today I found her different and enjoyed the aggressive streak she showed as Kumud.

I agree I used to wonder how GR would be able to play this character or whether he was the right choice or not. But he has taken me totally by surprise! TOTALLY! I can't believe he's same guy who we've been seeing in different shows for years now! What a changeover!

wowww I am really glad to see your post in SC forum...have read quite a few of your topics in BW forum and I must say I have always loved your writing and ways of explaining things and here again I completely agree with you and I am so glad that you are really liking the show...it really is a beautiful show!!

and as far as the lead actors are concerned, there is a reason why SLB, the PH, and the channel couldn't think or look beyond Jennifer and Gautam...they had seen their pilots, they had seen them together and they knew they wouldn't get better people than these two to play these soulful characters...no wonder, they all came back to Jennifer after she opted out due to contractual issues despite looking for other faces to play Kumud.

Thanks for the compliments on my writing and posts. Agree with your points. Gautam and Jenny are just fabulous! My parents don't watch TV much and don't take to new serials. But they liked this one and admire the leads, their acting and looks a lot! And are hooked to this serial, so much so that we start talking about the show from 7 PM itself and switch on the TV 5 mins before, so that we don't miss even a single moment of the show! It's that attractive! And parents liking it shows it has potential to connect with older and family audience too. Really excited for Saraswatichandra and wish it best for the future!
