Just checked the singers of the movie supari... but Kirti's name is not mentioned...

This is the movie Surya... And songs sung by Kirti are "Dil jo na kah saka" (with Abhijit and Alka yagnik) and "Gori Panjania" (solo).....

Well.... it is not a solo song..... It seems from the credit shown on the above page but if you listen to song or see 'lyrics' it is clear that Kirti has very little part to sing in this song..... And also for the one with Abhijit and Alka yagnik also, he just starts the song and that's it..... :-(

And for film Supari there is no mention for Kirti's name on the musicindiaonline website...... :-(

Javed wouldn't know Kirti. He is lyricist. Only music directors would know Kirti and that too I think Kirti was a part of the song. Not many would know him. And that can't be a big break.

Arpita too did the rendition of 'kuch meetha ho jaaye' only a bit but she was appreciated. To make it big they need a better platform. Even Rooprekha has sung the title song of a bengali serial.

The next song in the list is a repeat of the earlier title song 'Kuch Meetha Ho Jaaye' this time around in a fresh voice-that of Arpita Mukherjee, who is a Sa Re Ga Ma finalist. Arpita has a good voice, which is suited to playback singing, and her rendering of the song is good.
