Kirti has sung songs for two movies Surya and Supari in 2003. I don't think the movies were hit. He has also sung devotional songs and Gujarati folk albums.

Arpita Mukherjee has sung in a new movie 'Kuch meetha ho jaaye'.

As far as I remember Arpita participated in Sa Re Ga Ma....and Himesh Reshammiya was the judge...and he promised to give her a chance so I guess thats the reason she sang for the movie

Anvesha rulz I see sa re ga ma too but she was not in that challenge.Arpita has sung for Kuch meetha ho jaye . Great which song Anju?

I don't think Javed Akthar knows Kirti. He is just the lyricist and he deals with the music directors. And once the songs are finalized he is out of the pic. The music director then goes ahead and records the music and the singers.

Btw I looked for Kirti's song in Supari - but could not find it in the albumn.
