from stilted to bubbly!

Pratyusha as Anandi was shown as a stilted character, and Toral is always smiling and bubbly. Such diametrically opposed depictions of single character within a span of 2 weeks has almost snuffed out the Anandi character for me! I am not a fan of Pratyusha. But the replacement is worse than Pratyusha.

totally agree with you shuma, they should have selected appropriate actor for such an amazing character. Toral cant stop smiling all the time on screen that shes tooo happy to bag such amazing role which will get her first award as she said in her first interview after getting to play the anandi. she is NOT even close to pratyusha as an actor.

I agree with your asessment of the characterisation of Anandi.

On the other hand I find this new girl apt for the Anandi's character...this is the first replacement I ever liked in any Indian show.

Oh yes pasted smile like an air hostess I think she wld blurt out anytime "Jet viman mein aapka swagat hai" 😆😆
Btw thread reported for comparing actors and calling an actor stilted.

Leave Pratyusga,for me she is not even able to connect to Avika's Anandi.Avika's anandi was not only about chirpiness and hopping.She was full of lively compassion which is so not visible here.The thing is that Toral cannot relate to and emote the nuances of Anandi.She is unaware about the layers of the character.

And beleive me even the director cannot bring those layers out in Toral.Coz that was Pratyusha's personal touch to it.To exemplify, when you learn to drive a car...how to drive,the trainer will tell...but road sense,u/standing of traffic etc comes from own u/standing...thats the personal touch of the driver. Similarly the director may have told to Pratyusha what to do as Anandi but what we saw on screen was Anandi with a blend of pratyusha's understanding of the character.So no one can bring that back.And we can say this bcoz we have seen,felt,lived and loved Anandi for years.And more than that we have discussed each and every action,reaction and expression of Anandi since the past 10 months.

frankly I cant relate T to Avika also...i cant imagine avika growing up into this...
