It is funny how Arnav who gives such importance to contracts and deals when it comes to anything in his life... did not bother to legalize the marriage with Khushi. Maybe that is why the hate marriage track did not seem to make sense. The only thing that tied them together was the half-baked misunderstanding about Khushi having an affair with Shyam, and Arnav's blackmail of breaking Payal's marriage... and both these reasons were too flimsy for dragging the hate marriage for 6 months.
