PART 16:
Arnav, Anjali and Shyam reached Raizada mansion and ring the doorbell.
Pooja opens the door carrying an aarthi taal. She takes aarthi of Anjali and Shyam.
Pooja: pls come inside.
They all get inside. Anjali and Shyam get blessings from Ajith and Pooja.
Shyam sits with Ajith and Arnav to talk whereas Pooja takes Anjali to kitchen
In the kitchen
Pooja: how are you Anjali?
Anjali: I am fine ma
Pooja: you are happy right?
Anjali: I am very happy ma. Everyone there are treating me like a daughter. I can't ask for more.
Pooja: I am really happy beta. I can't ask for more.
Saying so Pooja hugs Anjali.
Anjali: ma by the way I think arnav has started liking Kushi.
Pooja: are you serious? I can't believe this (excitedly)
Anjali: yes ma. And she explains what happened earlier.
They both reach the living room where the men were seated.
Arnav looked at his watch nervously. He was scared that if he doesn't go soon she might go on her own and spend alone time with that bloody Sid
Anjali noticed him constantly looking at the watch and understood he wants to leave to pick up Kushi but doesn't say anything as she is enjoying his helplessness
Arnav: ok I will leave now
Ajith: where are you going now?
Anjali then explains everything that happened in Gupta house
Anjali decided to have some fun
Anjali: why you leaving so soon chotte?
She shows eyes to Pooja asking her to play valong.
Pooja: ya you just came with them. Spend some time with your di.
Anjali: I will ask Kushi to bring him here directly chotte.
Arnav shouts almost immediately
Arnav: no di. I mean she doesn't even have a license and their drivers must be busy. Moreover that guy is coming home for the first time. It won't look nice if one of us don't go and receive. He might feel bad.
Anjali: when did you start worrying about these things chotte? Anjali asked mischievously
Arnav: no di. Nothing like that. You are now married. So it's my duty to show respect to your side ppl right?
Anjali was now smirking and Ajith and Pooja were staring at Arnav open mouthed seeing the new side of him. Shyam was watching the bro and sis duo unable to understand anything.
Anjali: ya you are right chotte.
Arnav was waiting for this only
Arnav: ok I will leave bye.
Saying so he hurriedly left the house.
Anjali was laughing enjoying the change in her brother. Ajith and Shyam dint understand so Anjali explained everything.
In the mean time Arnav rushed to Gupta's house and rang the doorbell and Kushi opened the door and dragged him outside.
Kushi: thank god you came. I was waiting for you for so long. Come come let's move. I don't want to make Sid wait.
Arnav din't like that she was hurrying up for him.
Arnav: there's still time Kushi. Why are you hurrying.
Kushi: what if we get stuck in the traffic?
Arnav: nothing like that will happen. Why you getting hyper unnecessarily.
Kushi: you won't understand please come or I will go on my own
Arnav: ok ok come. Let's go.
Arnav and Kushi reached the airport.
IN THE AIRPORT
Kushi eagerly jumping and looking for Sid.
Arnav getting irritated that she is so eager. But he is also eager to see that guy.
Arnav (ST): I have to see how that Sid guy looks. I don't think he will be really handsome. But Kushi said he will be handsome. Hopefully not more handsome than me.
In the meantime Sid came towards Kushi
Sid: cupcake I missed you so much. Saying so he hugged Kushi tightly.
Kushi: awww I missed you too honey bunny.
Both were talking to each other and forgot Arnav totally.
Now Arnav's anger reached its peak. He saw that the Sid guy was really handsome. And saw how they were calling each other with endearments.
So Arnav cleared his throat to gain her attention.
Kushi heared this and acknowledged his presence. Sid also then only looked that someone else was there with Kushi.
Kushi: oh Arnav am so sorry I was so engrossed in our talk that I forgot to introduce you both to each other.you both wait here.
Sid this is Arnav my babhi's bro and Arnav this is Sid my best friend and partner.
Sid: Siddharth Malhotra. You can call me Sid for short
Arnav: Arnav Singh Raizada. Call me ASR in short.
They both shook hands formally.
Arnav was slightly hurt that Kushi introduced him as her babhi's bro and not her friend.
Sid: ok I will collect the baggage
Kushi: shall I come with you to help?
Sid: no wait here I will get the luggage and come.
After Sid leaves
Arnav: happy?
Kushi: ya I missed him so much. I am glad he is back.
Arnav: so am just your babhi's bro.
Kushi: huh??? I don't get you
Arnav: that's how you introduced me to your friend.
Kushi just then saw the hurt in Arnav's eyes and felt really bad by unknowingly hurting him.
Kushi: am so sorry Arnav. I said that just like that. Dint mean it.
Arnav: it's ok.
In the meantime Sid came there interrupting their conversation.
Sid: cupcake shall we leave?
Saying so he held her hand and left.Kushi totally forgot him.
He followed them and went near his car. He opened the passenger seat for Kushi but Sid came and sat there.
Sid: thanks dude. How very gentlemanly
Arnav just nodded his head irritated that he can't sit with Kushi now.
But both Kushi and Sid were oblivious of Arnav's anger.
Sid: so cupcake how did the marriage go?
Kushi: it was awesome
Sid: damn I missed it. I could've got a chance to look at you all dressed up.
Kushi: shut up. Shameless. You never change.
Sid: what? I am saying the truth only. Already you are so beautiful. So you would have been gorgeous then. Wonder how many guys died of heart attack seeing you?
Kushi's face reddened with his comment so she slightly slapped his arm.
Sid turned to Arnav and asked
Siid: boss tell me. What I am saying is right only na?
Arnav was feeling totally uncomfortable so he just passed a fake smile.
Kushi: ok Sid it's enough. Pls stop it.
Sid: anything for you sweetheart
Kushi just shook her head smilingly seeing his flirting
Arnav (ST): did he just call my Kushi sweetheart?? How dare it. I want to throttle his neck, skin him alive. How dare he flirt with her? I hate this guy. Wait a sec did I just call her mine? Arghh what happened to you. She's not your Kushi. Still he doesn't have any rights to flirt with her. Already she's mad. Her friend is madder than her. And they are making me mad too.
Arnav drove the car fast in frustration and reached Shantivan.
