Out of all the serials I have seen this one by far had the most amazing first meet b/w the two leads. Except for Viren and Jeevika's from EHMBH but my post is not about them ... so back to Saras and Kumd.
What according to me stood out was the fact that the first time they saw each other it was without the walls , guards and masks that we all have.
What was amazing was that the first time she saw him it was in his most unguarded, unaware and vulnerable state , that the innocence that is hidden behind all his pain was the first thing she saw. And it was obvious from her expression that she was absolutely completely mesmerized. That the man sleeping on her bed had her from the minute she saw his Godly eyes. And when she goes to fan him its obvious that she's torn. Torn that she's not supposed to like him for the fact that he rejected her and by extension hurt her family but she doesn't find it in herself to be able to do so. She's not able to hate that man and she grudgingly tries to ease his discomfort.
What was beautiful was Saras' expression when he saw her sleeping beside him. It was again in her most unguarded state where all her feistiness and boldness didnt exist , what existed was only the pure innocence that is Kumud. And you could see that he was smitten. He dosent want to marry her cause for some reason he thinks he cant love but thats already being proven wrong. While I wont be so bold as to assume he already loves her but it is obvious he's attracted. As they say kuch toh baat hai...
Oh and When Kumud said aap toh khatirdaari ke bhi layak nahi hai I was all like darling tum uski khaatirdaari nahi balki seva kar rahi ho , you're doing what a wife would do for her husband and no matter how much you pretend that he does not matter and no matter how much you say otherwise tum already apne Saras ki ho chuki ho and there's nothing anybody can do to change that.
And there was such purity and beauty and chemistry b/w Saras and Kumud even though one of them was asleep.
Once again a mention of Saras' adorable smile when he saw Kumud. I just cant get it out of my head. And even though my math final is in 2 days im gonna be dreaming about Gautam and his smokin' hot body and freakin' adorable looks.
Suffice to say I'm in love with Gautam. ❤️
