Talk about making a story modern. Kumud Sundari has a dirty mind lol. Those comparing her to Nandini...girls, Nandini cutely thought a hug would lead to a baby 🤣. Remember that scene with Salman? Kumud is not naive. The girl is hyper-aware.
When her mother said Saras was going to stay in her room, she was like 😲.
Her mom had to clarify that Kumud had to move to another room. 😳 And still she went and ended up sleeping in her room with Saras in it 😆.
Jokes apart, I like the naughty, but nice and old fashioned combination they have going here. Like Sanjay said, he's veering closer into dangerous territory (lust), not just spiritual, pure love. I think this story is his conversion period and then his next movie, like he said, will be focused more on lust. He's right of course, you need a potent combination of both for true love.
On the other hand, dynamic acting by Gautam here 👏. He showed Saras' heart soaring and sinking with each breath. His small reactions to each family member were so on point. The guy was thinking the whole time about Kumud's words rejecting him, he's in no mind to reject her anymore. He isn't even thinking that he really started it. Really well done!
Jenny is trying very hard too. She needs a little more helping hand (Sanjay, listening?) but really getting here. The hurt dignity needs a little more anger, less uncertainty. Superb job so far. ⭐️
