I see ur point Minnie.....and this very point is reson enough for her to change her attitude wouldnt u agree.....I mean, sure, if it was the first time that Jassi's looks worked against her, she would have a right to be bamboozled....but it has happened not once or twice but countless times...I would think that were Jassi smart (and it has been led to believe that she is), she would have done something abt her looks.....ur example is great, only I think it doesnt apply to the situation at hand cause Jassi IS AWARE of what the REASON is.....

think abt it, there is something abt u that is pulling u down everytime, wouldnt u take meaasures to rectify it.....now if Jassi was completely secure/content with her looks regardless of what others thought, then that would have been a different matter altogether......but she is aware and NOT secure abt her looks, so why is it that she does nothing to improve her appearance.....this is why I mentioned that her tears are useless, because she is repeating the same old song and dance.....

u r right that not everone has a fairy godmother.....but what most people have is the ability to improvise on what they have rather than lamenting what they lack.....

If someone is ugly or whatever its not proper to dump them atleast. Here its not a point whether Jassi desrves it or notObviously Jassi feels bad bcoz even she is a human.

Hi ides,
I definitely appreciate your views..but you see it is not possible for a person to change so easily..may it be her looks or habits or way of living.Yes,change is imperative in this case, but there has to be some crucial point in her life which will make her change..it has come. Why they are showing all this rona-dhona is that they want us the viewers to feel her pain..only then can we identify with her character...In a similar way as everyone was saying in between that how come Armaan changed overnight?(actually he hadn't changed completely),we shouldn't feel that arey...jassi mein itna atmavishwas ekdam kaise aa gaya? Unless we see her desperate and hopeless for some time, the story wont seem practical.

Well said Daisy - Her crying is tedious but what other way can you portray to the viewer how hurt she is????
