Though the story is completely different but the relationship is in many ways similar except for the fact that the lead is one step ahead of Heathcliff in his ego 😛

Thanks glad you liked it😃
Same here, to see a modern day movie or tv show made on wuthering heights would make my day. Yea I just recently read this novel for English and I was surprised to see that it had so many similarities in terms of rk's and madhu's relationship. Yes I agree that rk is quite a few steps ahead of healthcliff in terns of ego but I feel it's because the dude has grown up in darkness and pain with his loved ones abandoning him that his personality and ego are like a self defense mechanism to save him from hurt and pain. ironically its his ego thats giving him pain how instead of protected him now.

Ok I understand where you are coming from in the first point, though in my opinion madhu is not indifferent towards Rishabh. First I would like to define indifference as I find its a key term in our disagreement. According to Merriam-Webster indifference is a lack of difference or an absence of complusion to or towards one thing or another. Your right to move on one needs to indifferent as in not care if the other person lives or dies. Does madhu have a lack of concern for RK? No she is very much affected by him and his presence. An example of this would be today's episode she is concerned that he hurt his hand and hence gave bittuji the ointment to give to rk. Why didn't she take the water before but took it after bittuji said it was from rk? Another example of madhu's lack of indifference to rk and his antics could be when she declares war on him in the studio. Or the next night when she gets drunk with him she tells him that it kills her to hate him. She said hate their is still a compulsion or draw towards rk. And we also have that hug scene where she ask for rk for a hug she could have left him said no to his plea yet she accepted it and hugged him meaning she is still in love him.

As for the second part I agree with you Cathy and healthcliff never meant for anything like that to happen but rk broke her heart on purpose. But one could argue that Catherine broke heathcliff's heart when she got engaged and later married Edgar? To me I felt that Cathy married Edgar Linton as a form of revenge to heathcliff for abandoning her for 3 years. But on the flip side heathcliff only abandoned Cathy to go make money because he over heard her saying it would degrade her to marry heathcliff now. Had he stayed and evesdroped longer he would have realized that she had felt unworthy of him. Isn't that how rishbala are both feeling unworthy of one another? Madhu because she lack fame and fortune and rk cuz he lacks emotions.

I agree with all that you say though I just meant to say that Heathcliff and Catherine always thought of the other' wishes. If I remember correctly, there was a part in the book where Heathcliff laughed at young Edgar and Isabella over fighting over a dog. According to Heathcliff , neither he or Cathy would ever fight over something like that. There was no denial in their love, it was just too strong to be ignored. Also, RK may be heartless and cruel but he doesn't lack emotions. I think he feels strongly. His hate , his revenge , his obsession all are felt in extremes. Heathcliff does, the difference is that heathcliff had submitted himself completely.
