Hey folks im new to this fourm.

Ok so im a huge fan of drashti and loved her in geet but didn't like the costar much. Wasn't a Vivian fan, I thought that a tree would have more expression that guy. But man was I wrong that guy can act in fact he is damn good at it, and he is my screen saver now.

My take on rishbala

I don't know about you guys but I have found quite a few parallels between the leads Madhu and Rishabh with the characters Catherine and Heathcliff from the novel Wuthering Heights. In case you have not read Wuthering Heights is a dark revengeful love story about a black 13 year old boy named Heathcliff and a landlord's 12 year old daughter Cathy. They are soul mates. They grew up together from childhood, and they really consider themselves to be two halves of the same person. They don't really have the ability to get close to anyone else. Their relationships with others tend to be superficial...they didn't really "connect" with other people. They live in their own little world, and when separated from each other, they feel completely isolated. Their love and dependency on each other is consuming and obsessive.

Remind you of another couple you know of? Yes it seems like I am describing Rishabh and /or Madhu here instead of Heathcliff and Cathy. Rishbala are very flawed as well and their love for one another is destructive, selfish and obsessive kind of thing. I find that their story is a tale of madness, and love. They are one, and they are the same.

They believe in the concept of an eye for an eye, a hand for a hand. Madhu slaps rk, rk marries her and the list of their thoughtless endeavors goes on and on. Their souls are like one. They are both madly obsessed with one another. Both are still a bit dumb to realize it, though. 😆

Rk humiliated the shit outta madhu and yet she is on his film set the next day ready to fight with him and tell him she is strong, unaffected, UNBROKEN and has moved on? I though moving on meant that you delete the other person outta of your life and walk in a different direction not go and fight with the same guy.😕 And rk I though after getting revenge from your enemy you're supposed to be happy & celebrating not breaking shit and drinking like some Devdas.😕 Hell what do I know?

Anyways moving on.

Rishbala's love isn't something that's spoken of...there isn't any need to speak of it. Look into their eyes and you shall see it.😳 If you are unable to see it please go to your nearest optometry center and get an eye exam, you might be in need of some glasses.😆 Just kidding😳. I know many people have issues with Rk at the moment but the guy just gave her what he promised in the beginning. He told madhu that he will destroy her and he destroyed her at that alter. He just delivered what he promised. It is not betrayal. But the over the top humiliation was just so disturbing. Dude you ruined now just shut the hell up and leave.

next

Rk has fallen in love with his biwi through the process of revenge and his royal ego will never allow him to admit it until it's too late & she is gone or worse someone else's. I pity this man because once he understands that he is madly in love with his BIWI he will die a thousand deaths looking at her and to see what he has created. I feel that by the time RK learns of his love for madhu, she will be a changed woman. She is already changing she isn't that same innocent trusting gal that saw everyone as good or evil. Now she knows gray. Earlier she was afraid of the dark so she used light to alter it. Now she accepts that darkness is dark. As for rk you might consider him as an unsympathetic character at first, but if you look deeper, you begin to understand him and then feel sorry for him, if nothing else.😳

Creepy crawly dude I know madhu looks hot but control your freaken hormones.🤢 Creepy crawly dude meet sneaky slimy dipz😃, now you two can do your creepy crawly sneaky slimy stuff to each other.

Ps New guy keep your paws to yourself she is rk's. He might be a royal pain right now but still madhu par sirf rk ka haq hai. So daddyji please find another woman to be the mummyji of ur baccha.

Sorry its very very long the side effects of IB-English teacher says anything under 800 words is considered a crappy analysis.😆

And its a wrap. Thats all folks.😳

See you all again the next time i get bored outta my wits

Beautifully written, so there are two things I disagree upon.
One is that Madhu came on the shooting scene to prove the point that rK doesn't affect her anymore. That she is indifferent to him. That's moving on in my opinion. Another thing is that in Wuthering Heights both , Catherine and Heathcliff were COMPLETELY aware of their love. Their hearts , theirs souls were one, and breaking one's heart meant breaking the others. Neither Heathcliff and Catherine meant to break each other's heart. Over here RK's ego is bigger than his love, he's oblivious to it as well, and willingly , actively broke Madhu's heart.
These were just my two cents, my humble opinion:)

Awesome post! I mentioned the same thing in my first post because they instantly reminded me of Cathy and Heathcliff.I always wanted to see an Indian version of this novel! Though the story is completely different but the relationship is in many ways similar except for the fact that the lead is one step ahead of Heathcliff in his ego 😛

Nice post! I read wuthering heights last year n remembering back the characters have some similarities but I am pretty sure we will have a better romantic ending than devdas and wuthering heights!

Ok I understand where you are coming from in the first point, though in my opinion madhu is not indifferent towards Rishabh. First I would like to define indifference as I find its a key term in our disagreement. According to Merriam-Webster indifference is a lack of difference or an absence of complusion to or towards one thing or another. Your right to move on one needs to indifferent as in not care if the other person lives or dies. Does madhu have a lack of concern for RK? No she is very much affected by him and his presence. An example of this would be today's episode she is concerned that he hurt his hand and hence gave bittuji the ointment to give to rk. Why didn't she take the water before but took it after bittuji said it was from rk? Another example of madhu's lack of indifference to rk and his antics could be when she declares war on him in the studio. Or the next night when she gets drunk with him she tells him that it kills her to hate him. She said hate their is still a compulsion or draw towards rk. And we also have that hug scene where she ask for rk for a hug she could have left him said no to his plea yet she accepted it and hugged him meaning she is still in love him.

As for the second part I agree with you Cathy and healthcliff never meant for anything like that to happen but rk broke her heart on purpose. But one could argue that Catherine broke heathcliff's heart when she got engaged and later married Edgar? To me I felt that Cathy married Edgar Linton as a form of revenge to heathcliff for abandoning her for 3 years. But on the flip side heathcliff only abandoned Cathy to go make money because he over heard her saying it would degrade her to marry heathcliff now. Had he stayed and evesdroped longer he would have realized that she had felt unworthy of him. Isn't that how rishbala are both feeling unworthy of one another? Madhu because she lack fame and fortune and rk cuz he lacks emotions.
