Before Aarti and Yash's marriage, Gayatri did not want Aarti to bring Ansh with her. She feared that Aarti would neglect the girls. Gayatri always insinuated that Aarti is forgetting the girls and Yash because of her obsessive love for Ansh, her biological child.

Aarti on the other hand felt that she had to be very protective of Ansh. She didn't see anyone else taking on the responsibility to assimilate Ansh into the fold. Even if someone had offered help, she wanted to be in control and do it herself.

Aren't we seeing a role reversal here or a connection.

Gayatri today is in a similar position as Aarti, emotionally. She feels she is the one who has to bring Akash's justice. In her obsession to get that done, she fails to see other people who are willing to help, mainly Yash and Aarti. She is going out of her way to make sure Akash is assimilated in the family and in the meantime forgetting to nurture the relationship that has been with her for years. She had accused Aarti of treating the kids differently and now she is doing the same.

Yeah, Call it a role reversal or whatever...
Gayatri is yet to accept that she is doing everything against what she preached.

I just hope the situations make her understand and cope up with the situation

Very nice comparison, Kirti👏👏👏..

This should be a job for Buaji to come up with her sarcastic bits to point out matters..

I feel for Gayathri. Its not easy to forget everything and accept. She is going thru a lot of emotions now and Zarina is portraying the character very well. I like her chemistry with Gurmeet.

@Frozen, Yup it looks like she is running on pure emotions. There is red haze of anger and pain in her mind. I too hope she can find it in her heart to find peace with the situation.

@aimf, thanks. I feel these writers are constantly trying to bring so many loop closures from the beginning months of the show.

@Thabs, yup we can only hope before she ends up devastating Yash.

@Yamunah. Thank You.

@Enid, ahhh Boa. She has this amazing ability to see things realistically isn't it. 😆Yup, one or two sarcastic remarks from Bua and Gayatri might realize that she is destroying something to create something else.

@ng_cooltools, I do too. It is not at all easy for her. Like I mentioned earlier, right now all she can see is anger and pain and her desperate need to right a wrong. But she ends up something more wrong in the process. This is just an observation on the loops that the writers are trying to close.

Oh woww thats a wonderful connection Kirti 👏👏 😲😲

this is so true .. Gayatri's obsession for Akash is similar to Aarti's obsession for Ansh and both hv one thing in common ... their insecurity and fight to get the acceptance for their respective son in a family 👍🏼...

Aarti too went all the way out with Ansh making sure he is accepted in Scindia family and today we see Gayatri doing the same ...

I still remember Yash telling Aarti that this is not the way to handle kids and today SP is doing same with Gayatri as per precap 😃

Only difference is Ansh had a Yash papa ... we cannot say same for Akash though 😔

Hey Kirthi...Superbly put!! 👏

How can we forget those days when Aarti had her eyes on Ansh all the time. You know when Gayatri blasted Ansh the other day...she particularly referred to Ansh's clothing sense (indirectly pointing out to Aarti's single-parent upbringing). Now we all know that Gayatri is not very articulate...sometimes she means something, and it comes out all wrong. What she meant to point out there was "if all of you could accept this boy in spite of his upbringing, why can't you accept my son." It goes without saying that she was indeed taking out her anger at Aakash being ridiculed on Ansh...

At the moment Gayatri is only focusing on Aakash and his rehabilitation as well as that SP/Radha had a relation...rest everything is out of focus. She blames SP and Radha...and on the other hand SP shows discontent and disapproval at Gayatri's behavior. Till they stop seeing each other's faults and justifying their own actions, the situation will only escalate. It's only when all concerned parties go through introspection and take responsibility for their individual thinking and actions that an amiable solution can be arrived...otherwise this family is surely going to lose Yash.

hey, I like the connections that you mentioned in your post!! It is obsolutely amazing that you manage to relate to Aarti's obsession with Ansh when they just entered in SM cause she was afraid that he would not belong...And now G3 is trying to do the same...
Though I feel that G3 is paying all her attention to him as she feels obligated to make it up to him for all the years he has "suffered" in her mind...
