That evening , the Raizada Mansion was buzzing with festivity and party spirit. The entire house was decorated with fairy lights, and bright fresh carnations of blue,white and pink adorned everywhere giving the hall a fairy tale look . Big balloons of Pink and Blue which had the words "Happy Birthday Arush J!! " on the blue one and "Happy Birthday Arushi J !!" on the pink ones were hung on the walls and Pillars.

Buaji ,Garima and Babuji arrived early dressed as per theme.While Buaji was in a light pink saree,Garima And Babuji was in Blue. The moment they entered Piyush and Anjana ran to them beginning to chatter excitedly about the party.Naniji and Mamiji welcomed them with wide smiles.

"Aayiye aayiye andhar aayiye.Sab thaiyar hui raha hai " Nani said smiling broadly. Buaji smiled "Khonu baat naahi Nanda Kisore hum tab tak humri Piyush bitwa aur humri Anju gudiya se baatein karte hain " ( No problem Nanda Kisore,till then we will speak to our Piyush and Anju doll ) Anjana grinned at the nickname.

Once they were seated, Piyush sat on Garima's lap and told her in childish voice "Nani aapko pata hai, aaj Aauush aaushi ki budday hai.Hum sabko yaaik miiyega " he grinned. (Today is Arush & Arushi B'day and we'l get cake). He was smartly dressed as per theme in a light blue sherwani looking cute.

Listening to him,Anjana who sat on Naniji's lap nodded her head excitedly "Haan Cakes,Ice creams aur Chocolates bhi.Mamu ne kaha woh hum dhono ko bohot saare Ice creams aur chocolates Khilayenge " She said happily. She was wearing a baby pink Princess gown and her hair tied in a little pony tail with pink ribbon, looking like a Barbie doll.

Everyone laughed at their childish excitement "Devyaniji Manoramaji kahin dhikhayi nahi de raha hain " Garima asked looking around. Nani rolled her eyes and Mamaji chuckled "Mannu 3 gante se thaiyaar hui rahe hai.Hum zara unko dheke aavath hain " ( Mannu is getting ready for the past 3 hours.I will just check on her and come back ) with that Mamaji went to their room to bring Mamiji.

Mamiji was talking to herself looking at the mirror "Hello Hi Bye Bye ! Aise kaisan ho sakath hai ? Hum toh puri roomwa mein searchwa kiya phir bhi naahi mile " ( How is that possible I searched the room fully but dint find it )

"Arey Mannu tum abhi tak taiyaar nahi hue? Wahaan Sambhandiji sab aaye hai aur tu yahaan beitkar apni aapse kaahe bad bada raho ho " He said rolling his eyes.( Mannu u r not ready yet? Everyone has come outside and what are you doing here talking to yourself? )

"Hello Hi Bye Bye! humri bulue color lipstickwa naahi mil raha hai " ( Hello Hi Bye Bye ! am not finding the blue color lipstick ) she said trying to search again through her cupboard. After much of convincing by Mamaji,She settled for a bright red lipstick instead and finally made her way to the hall.

Arnav and Khushi's room was in a big mess with toys strewn everywhere and Arush Arushi running around the room only in their diapers.Arnav blew a frustrated breath and sat on the bed tired from all the chasing.None of them got dressed yet and the party is going to start in less than an hour.

"Arnavji aap aise nahi beit sakte ,Aloo aur Puri ko pakadiye na.Hume un dhono ko jaldi thaiyaar karne chahiye " (Arnavji you cant sit like that catch Aloo and Puri we have to get them ready ) Khushi said from the other end of the room carrying both of their dresses in her hands looking tensed and nervous."Hey Devi Maiya ! saade paanch baj gaye aur hum sab kapde bhi nahi badle ! "( Oh god its 5.30 and we have not even changed clothes ! ) She exclaimed talking to herself while trying to pull Arushi away from the walker, making her wail in protest.

"Khushi stop getting tensed we still have an hour.We can get them ready until then " he said in a calm voice to her, and wondered to himself how to make his two little brats get ready that soon.They normally hate getting dressed and prefer to be in their diapers.Arush sometimes even prefer to be without any clothes.He just took a deep breath and moved towards Arush who was making an attempt to climb their four posted bed.He chuckled at his son's attempts and his frustrated looks when he couldn't climb.

"Alright champ, pehle yeh sherwani pehno phir you can try climbing again " He said fondly ruffling Arush's hair, who was frowning at the bed clearly annoyed that he is not able to climb on it on his own.

With some effort he made Arush wear the sherwani top but he found it very difficult to make Arush wear the pyjama.He looked at Khushi helplessly "Khushi I don't know how to make him wear the pyjama ,tum sambalo pls.Main Arushi ko gown pehna doonga " he said and handing over the Pyjama to Khushi ,took the gown from her.

Arushi was busily pulling at her hair which Khushi took so much of effort to plait fashionably like a little bun with small white clips.Arnav saw what her daughter is upto and took her hands in his "Princess stop that mumma took so much time to make it " he said kissing her forehead ignoring her pout.He then managed to clip it back again the way it was, though it took sometime not to mention a squirming Arushi.

Since Arushi loved dressing up,making her wear the dress was not a problem.Soon Arushi grinned at herself after Arnav zipped up the princess gown and she twirled around clapping her hands "Maa ecko " ( Mom dheko ).Arnav smiled lovingly at her as she showed off her dress poudly.

Khushi had just finished dressing up an annoyed Arush turned around and gasped.Her face broke into a big wide smile as she saw her daughter looking like a princess in the white dress."Arey wah Puri kitni sundar lag rahi hai !! " Arush too glanced at Arushi and grinned appreciatively in his own way.Khushi grinned proudly and after making Arushi were a matching sandal, she placed a small pearl necklace around her neck and lastly arranged a crown on her head.The dress came until her ankles and was designed with strings of pearls and white stones all through layers and centre making it look rich at the same time elegant."Arnavji kya aap yeh dhono ko zara sambhalenge? Hum thaiyaar hojaate hain " she said pointing to her new saree.Arnav smiled and nodded.

Arnav chuckled at his daughter who was busy admiring hereself and frowned when his son hit him "Paapaa " and showed him something inside his hands.Arnav mentally kicked himself when he remembered he has to pin the brooch Khushi gave him onto Arush's sherwani."Oh sorry champ papa bhool gaya " he smiled sheepishly pinning up the brooch on his sherwani when Arush frowned again disapprovingly.Once its all done he admitted Arush look looked like a little prince just like his daughter looked like a pretty princess.

( Dint get pure white in this design so imagine this dress in white !😛)

Arnav heard a knock and he opened to find Anjali and Aakhash grinning in the doorway "Bhai are the prince and princess ready ? " Arnav gestured with his head towards his kid with a proud smile.They all gasped as they ohhhed and awwwed how cute they looked.

"Chotte tum ab tak thaiyaar nahi hui aur Khushiji? " she asked looking around.

Arnav rolled his eyes "Well with these two its quite impossible.It took us all this while just to get them ready.Khushi bas abhi washroom gayi hai shower lene " Anjali laughed "Teek hai Chotte hum yeh dhono ko apne kamre le jaate hain.Party ke pehle NK bhai in dhono ka photos keechna chahte hain" ( Ok chotte we will take these two to my room.NK bhai wanted to take some photos of them before the party)

Arnav nodded and smiled gratefully as Aakhash and Anjali took a chattering Arushi and grinning Arush with them..

He quickly changed to Dark blue suit and light blue shirt. After few moments , the door behind him opened and Khushi emerged looking gorgeous and stunning as always in a baby pink and silver designer saree and silver colored blouse.

Khushi saw the appreciative look from her husband and blushed smiling shyly.It always amused Arnav how she could still blush and feel shy even after two years of marriage and two kids.He strolled towards her and pulling her by the waist,dropped a soft kiss on her lips.As always when it comes to kissing Khushi,Arnav can never stop with one, and soon one kiss let to another and then another until both of them gasped for breath. Khushi smiled again shyly and pressed her head on Arnav's shoulder looping her arms around his waist as they both waited for their breathing to get back to normal.

"Khushi Arnavji ?? " Payal voice flowed near and a second later her head popped in followed by Dia "Acha hua aap dhono thaiyaar hogaye.Jaldi ayiye saare mehman aa chuke hain "( Good you both got ready.Come soon all the guests have arrived ) Payal said smiling."Wow Di! Jeej ! both of you look dashing as always " Dia exclaimed next to Payal Arnav and Khushi smiled. Dia wore a simple halter necked long dress in baby pink while Payal wore a light blue designer saree.

"Kya mehmaan aa chuke hai ! Amma Buaji aur Babuji bhi aa gaye? " She asked as took one final glance at the mirror and walked towards the door.Payal nodded and smiled "Khushi woh dho gante pehle aagaye hain " ( Khushi they came two hours before ).Khushi gasped and turned towards Arnav pulling him "Jaldi chaliye Arnavji bohot dher hogaye " ( Come fast Arnavji its late ) Arnav rolled his eyes and followed her.

By the time Arnav,Khushi came down with the kids,guests had already arrived.The crowd went up in big cheer and applause when they spotted Arush and Arushi descending down the steps slowly holding their parents fingers , looking all classy and cute.Since everyone were dressed in blue or pink shades as per theme, Arush and Arushi stood out in the crowd and they exactly looked like little prince and princess.

While Arushi grinned proudly at the crowd,Arush frowned at the noise and he held Khushi's fingers tighter. Arnav knew his son will be uncomfortable and annoyed at big crowds and when he met Khushi's gaze she smiled and lifted Arush in her arms reassuring him.

They all mingled with the guests and it was finally time for cake cutting.Everyone was pleasantly surprised to see the two cakes Arnav had ordered for the kids.Khushi laughed and hugged him happily.Their kids clapped their hands and grinned.Anjana and Piyush began jumping as their eyes never left the cakes before them.

"Arey wah bhai superb choice ! " Aakhash exclaimed patting Arnav's shoulder and everyone agreed.Arush who was sulking at the crowd began cheering up and flailed his arms towards his cake.He so wanted to get his little chubby hands onto the cake making everyone chuckle at his impatience.

The entire Raizada's knew how much Arush gets fascinated by cars and this car cake almost resembled Arnav's SUV which made Arush grin more.

Arushi on the other hand jumped along with Anjana grinning happily as she Khushi let her down near her cake.Arushi and her Barbie dolls are inseparable and it's a perfect cake for her.She thought it's a real Barbie doll and almost went to snatch it if not for Payal and Khushi who stopped her at the last moment.

When NK announced its time for cake cutting everyone gathered around.When Khushi lighted a candle on Arushi's cake, Arushi immediately blew it clapping happily.Everyone laughed at her mischief as she did it two more times making Khushi pout at her."Puri do minute wait kijiye " She pulled her back a little as Payal lighted the candle.

Everyone began clapping and singing "Happy Birthday to You " as Arnav held Arush and Khushi held Arushi as they helped the kids cut cake gently.Anjana sat next to her jumping excitedly "Maami jaldi "

When Khushi fed Arushi a piece of cake, she grinned and grabbed the rest of the piece and smashed it with her fingers and licking it making a big mess on her face.Khushi gasped but everyone just laughed."Arey Arushi toh bilkul humri Sanka Devi ki tharah hai " Buaji commented laughing heartily.Khushi pouted at her.Then fed Anjana smiling lovingly. Piyush had joined the men's party of Car cake and stood near Arush.

Unlike Arushi, Arush quietly ate the cake and fed a piece to Piyush with the help of Arnav, and later grinned proudly clapping.Once the Cake cutting is over, Gifts started pouring in from friends,relatives and business associates.Though Arushi grinned at everyone and collected gifts happily,Arush began crying within 5 mins.Aakhash took him away to cheer him up as they all know Arush hates crowds.

After sometime Arush and Arushi's gaze fell on the big balloons and they started making demands to get some for them.Piyush and Anjana too pestered NK to get them some balloons. "chaahu piilee " Arushi asked with a puppy dog face which melted NK.

He quickly took hold of some balloons and gave one each to Anju,Piyush and Arush.However Arushi refused to accept just one balloon and demanded for one more showing her other free hand.Arnav and Khushi chuckled at their daughter's antics.

In less than 5 mins they heard a boom to find Arush and busted off Arushi's balloons but the noise from it and the sudden shock got them scared and they started crying.

Meanwhile the party went in full swing and the food was served in buffet. Anjana and Piyush jumped together around NK to get them more and more ice-creams. Payal and Dia took Arushi and Arush near the icecream counter to distract them .Seeing the ice-creams they immediately perked up and demanded some for themselves..Both Khushi and Arnav denied them saying they will catch cold.

Anjali laughed and shooed both the parents away saying little will not do any harm, and indulged the kids with some ice-cream with the help of Dia and Payal.

All in all, it was an amazing party and everyone had fun especially the kids who seemed to enjoy the most.Arnav and Khushi stood together hugging, observing the party with a happy smile.The day couldn't have gone better overall !
