Maryada was popular and better than all the other shows with strong star cast. But with the timing being late and SP didnt promote it well either it never got its due. Though Ridhi did become more popular during Maryada.

Oh...i really liked dat show...i strongly feel der shud b a message given to the audiences through a show...or else its meaningless...n dat show was outstanding...it changed my perspective about so many things in life!!!

It covered real issues and was definitely different from the rest. Its a shame it ended it could have covered other social issues too. Did you watch Satyamev Jayate? Well some of the topics discussed there were covered in Maryada too. It wasnt the typical saas bahu stuff.

no i havent...i actually dont watch much hindi shows...my younger sis used 2 use my account in btwn...d only hindi tv shows ive watched is maryada and dmg...n offcourse savitri now!!!

btwn did maryada end bcoz of poor ratings?...i thought d show had reached its natural conclusion and ended...i also rem a lotta hype and praise for d show at dat time...!!!

The TRPs Maryada got were over 1 and they got over 2 too. But considering it was on late it was better than what most shows got at prime time. After Priyas truth come out in front of Aditya all of the secrets were revealed. But CVs could have dealt with the aftermath better rather than going down the route of showing Brahma mental. It was about the four ladies, they should've concentrated on them rebuilding their lives instead of just showing it in the last 10 minutes of the last epi. With Priya at least they showed her continuing her law studies and giving her exams.
