Author's note: Firstly, sorry for the late update! Between school work & the smokin' hot AsYa SBS segment I saw (rain sequence! 😳) I've been too busy to edit the chapter. But it's here now and, depending on how quick the feedback is, chapter 6 will be updated very shortly (it's already written & raring to go! 😉)

This chapter isn't written very well, but it's just meant to be a chapter that bridges the gap between the previous & next ones. Before you start reading, I want to clarify a couple of things. Firstly, this isn't a happy chapter, and neither is the next one, but both are vital to the story. Unfortunately there are trials ahead for Arnav & Khushi, and this is possibly the most testing time in their relationship. I haven't changed my ideas for where this story is going at all since I started writing it, so all I will say is please bear with it and enjoy the story that is unfolding, and the reasons behind Arnav's behaviour that will be brought to light very soon. Happy times are coming for Arnav & Khushi, and I hope you stay with me to read and enjoy them.

I love reading the analytical comments some people leave, and I especially want to read your take on this chapter & your theories behind what goes on. Just bear in mind that Khushi is traditional at heart when you read through her thoughts, as you guys may see some things you don't necessarily agree with.

Final note before I leave you to read it (slight spoiler here): Rohit is not Arjun (from Tantalising Touch). He isn't a huge part of the story so don't worry about it too much. As you all know, Arnav & Khushi end up married so he obviously can't play much of a role can he? 😆

Fantastic and emotional update, poor Khushi was in two mind wether to trust her mum or not, but she did decide to go and meet Arnav, but that was a surprise, how come he is ignoring her. I hope khushi's mum has not interfered and said something to him. Continue soon and thanks for the PM xx

P.S. just watched the trailer, it was awesome, amazing and mind blowing. Excellent collaboration of fantastic scenes, wonderful job xx

Awesome update, as always! But it's a short one 😛

Khushi's mother's reaction was normal. So I'm not angry at her 😆

Feeling bad for Khushi. Poor her. She doesn't understand what's gotten into Arnav for him to become such a 'monster' 🤔

Feeling bad for Arnav too. He's trying really hard to shut Khushi off from his life.

But I don't see his idea of staying away from Khushi. Is it because he wants her become independent or is it because he's afraid of ruining their friendship - since all that glitters is not gold (referring to his parents' relationship)?

Loved the update nevertheless! 😊

Looking forward to future updates! Really eager to read how Arnav & Khushi end up getting married 😃

P.S: Loved the lyrics. Really apt for this chapter 😊
