Arjun muttered under his breath while getting ready "I hate Dad's dominating nature, why does he need to force me into things? I don't want to go anywhere, forget about meeting some random girl"
Here Arohi also had no choice, but to go with Swayam for dinner. Well their parents only wanted Arjun Arohi to know the other individual, but children are children...they love to do the opposite of what their parents want. If Arohi's Dad knew how to make her do things according to his wish, then she was also his daughter.
She knew it was rude, but her stubbornness didn't allow her to utter a single word in the car. Poor Swayam managed to think "probably she was uncomfortable because it was their first meeting" In fact he had no clue that she hated this whole dinner idea.
Imagine two people who were in love deeply were forced to accompany some third person and that too on Valentine's Day. What will happen if it turns out the other way around and they end up with their own love??
While driving, Arjun wanted to bang his head or strangle the headache that his Dad has sent with him. He already drove for 20 minutes, but Roshni didn't take sigh of relief for a single second. She kept asking him question after question...without letting him answer. Off course he didn't want to answer her any question, but he really wanted to yell "shut the hell up". He assumed, she was a participant of bakbak competition and definitely won it too. He touched his temple with pain and murmured "kabhi saans toh le liya kare, iss ko wapas drop karne ke liye mein driver ko bula lunga" Until they reached the restaurant, Roshni continued with her tape record. As soon as they arrived, Arjun started walking inside without waiting for her to catch him.
Arjun hurriedly entered the restaurant when a familiar voice called out "Hey Arjun" Arjun's eyes immediately caught the guy; he was sitting opposite to a girl. Arjun passed a half fake smile, he felt like to slap his own cheek...bad people at bad timing.
The guy came forward with open arms "It's been years yaar, I didn't expect to meet The Great Arjun Singhania like this" Arjun sarcastically spoke "meine bhi kaha socha tha ke tu mere peecha karke yaha chala ayega Swayam" Swayam gave a light punch on Arjun's shoulder "school pe mein tera rival tha but wo purani bate thi yaar, now come on give me a hug"
While they hugged, Roshni also came in "Arjun?" They broke the hug, Swayam looked at Roshni, then Arjun and again at Roshni. He shook hand with her. Arjun thought "God ek din mein hi itna adventure, ek tape recorder aur dusra comedy circus ki joker." Swayam hit his forehead "oh no, mein toh batana hi bhul gaya. Chal tujhe mein apne hone wali fiance se milwata hoon!"
As they walked close Roshni spoke with an unknown jealousy "aur mein Arjun ka fiance" Arjun gave her a death glare, she immediately corrected "I mean to be fiance" "so Arjun meet Arohi...my future fiance"
Arjun's heart started racing instantly, he restlessly questioned himself "kya meri Arullu hai?" With each beat his breathing became heavier. His world stopped when she turned to face him, her eyes were closed. She wasn't shy, but looked fearful about something. Her face was pale, still beautiful as ever. His eyes became dazed...was he seeing the same girl? The girl who captured his heart and was gone from his life. Finally she opened her eyes...they stared each other without blinking. Without asking they could comprehend feelings through each other's eyes; the pain was clearly visible. This one moment brought all the luck to their fates. They couldn't speak, but words were coming through each pulse of their hearts...

All took their seats in one table. The host requested all the couples to join in the dance floor. To their luck Arjun and Arohi got the same colored chits and were asked to have at least one dance together. Roshni and Swayam also had no option rather than joining each other. A slow piano tone was played while Arjuhi stood in the dancing position. Arohi 's eyes were staring the floor. She feared to look at him, but he brought her close with a jerk and they began dancing. The music was slow; now their eyes were locked with each other's. Thy couldn't hear the music, but each other's unspoken feelings...

They slowly kept moving in each other's arms. They were so lost in each other that didn't realize about time, place, or people. Oblivious to the world, they were having a questioning and answering session. They came back to senses listening to the host's loud voice. Arohi turned her face to the other side and wiped her tears. Arjun wiped right hand over his face; his eyes were also moist. The DJ played a new song; Arohi started walking away from the dance floor. Arjun forwarded his hand a little to stop her, but brought it back painfully. He watched her as she went to a lonely corner. He noticed Roshni and Swayam were too engrossed in dancing, but he didn't care. His eyes didn't let go of her sight, not even for a second. She was still standing there, he silently wished for her to look at him only for once. When she did, he already closed his eyes. By the time he opened them up, she turned to the opposite side again. After a while, taking a deep breath he started walking towards her.
Arohi was leaning on a pillar sideways, the left side of her face rested on it. Gathering courage she began to turn around, but gasped for air as a male chest made contact with hers. There was a little gap between them, he walked forward reducing the renaming distance. She hit the wall as he blocked her way not leaving a chance for the air to come in between then. Arohi looked away to the other side, feeling him so close her heart started racing rapidly.
Arjun asked with painful voice "itni nafrat karti ho ke mera chehra bhi dekhna manzoor nehi tumhe?" Arohi immediately looked at him and was lost in his deep brown eyes. He whispered "Happy Valentine's Day Arul...Arohi" Arohi stared him blankly; eyes with full of confusion she tried to move away. He was fast enough to block her again completely. This time his hands were resting on the pillar, he hurriedly stated "Swayam se shaadi maat karna, wo sehi nehi hai tumhare liye"
Arohi's all confusion was gone, her eyes turned furious. She thought "tumne mujhe phirse galat sabit kardiya" It was time for Arohi to burst out, she mockingly asked "oh toh Mr. Singhania is back with his old demands? I am the great Singhania and only I have the right to control other people's lives. Right?"
Arjun felt a pinch cause she didn't call him Arsinghu, not even Arjun. She slowly pushed down his hands from her sides and folded her hands across the chest and continued "toh Mr. Singhania aap hi bataye mere liye kia sehi hai?" Arjun with firm voice "Arohi dekho tum samajh nehi rahi, mein janta hoon Swayam ko, I know him. Wo kabhi kisi ek ladki ke saath reh hi nehi sakta. Wo tumhe deserve hi nehi karta hai. Tum toh'.."
Arohi gave a sarcastic laugh "So now you are going to decide my well-being? Khud bhi toh shaadi kaar rahe ho na? toh meri shadi se kya problem hai tumhe? Kehi tumhe ye toh nehi lag raha ke tumhari trouble aab tumhari dost ki zindagi mein hoga? Aren't you trying to secure his life? Kya tumhe meri khushi bardasht nehi ho raha? Ya phir Swayam se apna rivalry nikal rehe ho?"
Arjun impatiently shook his head "nehi tum mujhe phir galat samajh rahi ho?" Arohi without any emotion "uss din ke baad meine tumhe kabhi galat nehi samjha aur aab sehi hi samajh rahi hoon"
Arjun tried to make her understand "mujhe koi fark nehi parta Swayam ki life mein kia ho raha hai ya nehi, I don't care. I don't give a damn about anyone else, but mujhe fikar hai toh tumhari. I care about you, tumhari life mein kia ho raha hai mujhe usse fark parta hai Arohi, if someone is important in life then it's you. tum kia karti ho, kia sochti ho, kia chahti ho, tum kaisi ho...mujhe hoti hai toh baas tumhari hi chinta."
"Hote kaun ho tum, meri chinta karne wale? Meri life mein kuch bhi ho paar tumhe koi haq nehi mujhse sawal poochne ka?" Arohi reminded him bitterly.
Arjun turned to the other side, he was telling himself "kash mein keh sakta tumhe... mein wo admi hoon jisko haq hai tumhari saath poori zindagi bitane ka...sirf aur sirf mujhe, kisi aur ko nehi. Jisko haq hai tumhari hansi pe, khushi pe, dukh pe, sukh pe aur tumpe. Jise haq hai sote huye tumhe dekhe, sapne mein tumhe jiye aur jagte huye bhi tumhari chehra hi dekhe, tumhe mehsus kaar sake. usse haq hai tumhe khushiyaan de aur haar gham churale. usse haq hai tumhe apna bana ne ka, dil mein basane ka...umar bhar tumhe apni Arullu keh ne ka. Baas mujhe hi toh haq hai Arohi, mein hoon tumhari Arsinghu aur kabhi nehi badal na mujhe."
He wiped a teardrop from the corner of his eyes, turning around he intently looked at Arohi. As he walked forward, she moved backward. Soon she hit the wall; he was still quite. Arjun grabbed her by the waist with left hand and held her hand with the other one'..intertwining their fingers together. There was no scope for Arohi to even move cause he didn't give her the chance this time. She was looking down, but could feel his breathing on her lips.
He challenged her "agar rok sako toh ruklo" He brought his face even closer; Arohi closed her eyes to feel the moment...the intense feelings they shared. After a while Arohi opened her eyes to find herself in the same position, but Arjun already moved back from his action. She was still in his arms, but the moment never came. Arohi looked up to see his face; but her heartbeat stopped when her lips were about touch his in the motion. She realized he was still that close to her.
Arjun smiled, looking into her eyes he spoke "mein wo hoon..." After taking a pause he rather stated "apne dil se pochoon Arohi?"
He let go of her hand and it fall on his chest where his heart was beating fast. "jiska dil kisi aur ke paas hai, uska haath mein kisi dusre ka ring achha nehi lagega. Jab koi tumhari itna kareeb hai toh koi aur kia tumhari kareeb ayega" he said with full faith that would make her believe in his love.
He removed his hand from her waist and keeping his eyes on her moved backward. He pointed toward his heart "ye pagal dil hai na...tumhe jawab mil jayega"
With a huge smile, he left her to deal with thousand questions. Arohi kept her hand on the chest to feel her rapid heartbeats "dil ka jawab pata hai paar tum aab kia chahte ho?" His intention was crystal clear to her, but her mind wasn't ready to accept it yet.
