Yes, I know many so-called CID fans who don't bother to watch these days on purpose. Can't blame them...remember an old story we heard during school days...about a lady who made brinjal bhaji for her husband on Sunday, he liked it. very much...then Monday he liked it...Tuesday it was ok...and so on...then on Saturday he threw away the plate and stormed out of the room. CID has become like that an overdose. Whatever we used to like about CID is not there any more...and we have no hopes that Sony and CID will bring in those aspects into this show again. What's the use discussing only bad things?
Then I also know people who watch it, enjoy it, yet don't discuss here...this is something I can say from my own personal experience. When I was a total stranger, I used to post on the forum...then a few people came to know me better, I happened to share my mobile number with them (now I am not going to share my number with any more people, so pls don't ask me). Lot of CID-related discussions started happening on SMS.
Then came Whatsapp, thanks to a famous SMS restriction placed by the Govt. That caused all discussions to happen on whatsapp. Now I find people discussing the episode on whatsapp, which they would have otherwise posted on IF...we used to be on IF back in 2011...discussing the episode having fun while the episode was on...but they now discuss only on whatsapp and SMS. I sometimes wish I could just uninstall it...NOM. But I don't because this is the way I keep in touch with many of my non-IF friends too. I feel...unless it is something which cannot be shared on IF why do episode discussions on Whatsapp and SMS?

Some reasons are...some people wanted to write something...then someone counter-attacked them and they left the threads...people like me don't take such things seriously for too long, so they forget it and come back...not some others.
People should remember that forum consists of people...a forum doesn't have a life of its own...if you feel the forum is dead, it is upto you to make it active...you cannot expect the forum itself to weave a miracle and become active.

Maybe,...even Sony creates controversial episodes like Grahan to get TRP...so yes, controversy draws attention. The forum becomes active...but after a while even controversies fail to have any impact...when it becomes an overdose.

Possible...the new episodes give us nothing good to discuss about duo or the episodes...duo don't exist as duo...so what's there to talk?
