It is often said that "Money may not buy happiness, but I'd rather cry in a Jaguar than in a bus." But why are we talking about Money suddenly? Well, small screen is something which works on 'per day', a term used for cast and crew member's daily wages. But what if these daily wages are not tendered to them on time? It is a subject to worry indeed.

Many production houses suffer these kinds of crisis and Trilogy Krikos' along with Sai Deodhar's Thought Rain Productions recently experienced these kinds of crisis which resulted in the early closure of a much awaited show Kuch Kehti Hai... Khamoshiyaan.

Now, the latest what we have heard is that Shalini Thackarey's Cinemantra Productions is in the tight spot for not giving regular payments to the employees. However, this time the issue is not with the actors, but the production house people who are baring the burnt and are striving hard to get their unpaid dues by the production house.

Sources informs, "Cinemantra currently have two shows in their kitty with lot of future projects lined up. The two ongoing shows are Color's Sanskaar and the other is Star Pravah's Ambat God. Both the shows are doing great with their TRP ratings. However, the production house is somewhere failing to keep it's behind the screen people content. There are no proper payments done for Lightmen, Cameraman, Hair dressers, Executive producers, production managers, Costume Designers, spot boys and various creative and art department persons, who have immensely contributed to the show. This all chaos has resulted in workers backing out from their work."

It is also buzzed that many production people daily visit the production house for getting their payments back but are left disappointed. We too hear that the amount of mismanagement is more seen on the sets of the Marathi show Ambat God than the one on Sanskar.

On the issue, we contacted Prashant Bhatt, fiction head of Colors but he chose not to comment on the following subject while Swapna Joshi Waghmare, Creative producer of Sanskaar states, "I am not aware of such thing happening may be it is just a rumour."
