Out of the three... Sushant seems to have a more promising film line up ..

And a lot of buzz around him...

Well .. before KPC's release ... UTV , YRF etc's PR and spokespersons did the work.. and after KPC's release .. its the critics who have praised him to the skies ... calling him brilliant , star in making... yada yada yada ...

So Sushant's PR has had it quite easy actually...

As far as the remaining two from the KPC trio are concerned .. well.. like others have said .. Raj was fab throughout in KPC... but this is bollywood .. and sadly ..he doesnt fit into the conventional bollywood hero mould ...

So he wont have fangirls swooning over him... but .. hey ...he can win awards .. I mean ...Irfan Khan won it this year.. so why not him?

As for Amit ... he did have his PR do a bit of work .. with articles about girls crazy about him .. and sending bouquets of flowers or something like that ...

But... if we really are looking at a comparison here .. as to who "benefited the least" from KPC .. then.. atleast .. going by the critics reviews and audience/twitter reaction .. he seems to have been less appreciated compared to Raj and Sushant ...

I mean... most of the reviews singled out Sushant for praise .. calling him a star .. some reviews singled out Raj calling him a brilliant actor .. but Amit didnt get any special mention as such.. the poor guy was called a weak link out of the three in some reviews..

I personally didnt find a single weak link in the movie as far as acting was concerned .. and that was the best thing about KPC for me...

Anyways getting back to the topic .. I really like Kunal Kapoor ( from Na bole tum..) .. Hope he gets into bwood ...

And .. havent really his show on tv much .. but .. what about Mishal Raheja .. ? From whatever little I have seen him on TV ... he is a really good actor with a fab screen presence .. Wasnt he supposed to do a film? I remember seeing some pics of him from on location of shoot..

I'm almost new to india-forums but I want to post something after seeing few posts which is been posted against Sushant, his fans so can I post? Because I'm scared to post seeing bullying happening for him and his fans who can't post anything.

I'm saying this bully happening because not even single fans of his opened separate thread for Kai Po Che success party because of scare of he being bashed here. I have never seen this kind of harsh treatment to any other actor. I feel bad for Sushant at one side his co-star like Anushka puts him down in mean manner and few other here put him down for fact their favorite never got what he got on his own talent.

This is such a cynical world, but well I hope atleast in name of mocking him gives pleasure to people.

Since you are new to IF, please stick around a while in this section specially. We have no preferential treatment for or against anyone. Even amitabh bachhan is not spared and Radhe and desigal , biggest fan ever on IF are not spared.

It is not about people sparing him as it known fact he is no perfect person as he has his own flaws. But it is about one can't freely post anything in defend of him if anyone does then it is like fans are treating him like god or anything.

I can show nearly 20+ article on Amit and some on Raj also and infact Raj PR constantly does re-tweet events on Raj but no one here notices. Till date I haven't seen single article where Sushant said he was best in Kai Po Che or success credits goes to him nor his PR has. I would appreciate if anyone does here!

errm last time i checked, there was a 26 page thread on him in this forum.

If you want to defend him, go ahead and do it. no one is stopping anyone.

There is KPC review and discussion thread where u can praise him too.

I am sorry his fans her scared but this forum does not spare a dedicated fan like desigal or Radhe.

my question is, in a forum which does not even spare Amitabh bachhan or shahrukh khan, their PRs and their own PR skills, why would a SSR be spared?

@optical01 Don't take this stuff to your heart! It is just harmless internet bashing, it shouldn't hurt anyone. I get the impulse for defending your favs and getting annoyed at the hate but really, it doesn't matter. It isn't like a few people pulling him down on an internet forum would have any effect on the buzz he has around himself /would negate the rave reviews he has garnered from established critics. So yk, there is nothing to fear. You should definitely create a topic on KPC's success party if you want one to be there.😊
Nobody is spared on this forum but it only hurts us when our favorites are at the receiving end.😆

I can't exactly follow what you are saying.

Are you upset that Sushant's articles are posted and Raj-Amit's aren't?
Are you upset that he hasn't given himself credit for his performance in Kai Po Che but we are still calling him stuck-up?

People can freely post his articles, fangirls can make threads on him but those threads wont be any fun without a little cynicism. 😒 No one here hates anyone, but actors get mocked all the time here, no big deal, if you can defend him, do so, if you can't, well, tough luck. No actor has gotten special treatment on IF so why should Susu? 😎

I agree with you. Amit and Raj have done their share of PR too, there were lots of articles on them as well, just that they weren't posted on the forum.😳

And as for the claim of Sushant 'stealing away the credit' from the other two by PR tactics, well you are right there as well- nowhere did his PR tout him as the one responsible for KPC success nor did the media, it was Abhishek Kapoor who got most of the credit and rightfully so. The critics were divided in their opinion of which actor was the best- Raj or Sushant- but were unanimous in their opinion that Sushant had made a terrific debut and had great screen presence.

Truth is just that Sushant was more keenly awaited than the other two since he has two big and prestigious projects in the pipeline so naturally everyone was inquisitive. Plus Sushant is much more popular in comparison to Raj and Amit, so naturally he got more attention, just like Barun is getting more attention than Kavi Shastri in that MAMR movie.

Other than that I think even UTV did a fab job of promoting all three guys equally. In fact, Amit was the one who spoke the most in the interviews.😆
